Pinkfresh Studio + Altenew “Celebrate” Collaboration┃Blog Hop + Giveaway
Happy Release Day Crafters! Today Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew are celebrating the awesome “Celebrate Collaboration” with a fabulous Blog Hop + Giveaway. So therefore... If you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from Kelly’s Blogs but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinfresh Studio’s Blog.
With that said, today I’d like to share with you these 2 floral cards made using; Celebrate Us Stamp Set, Celebrate Us Die Set, Celebrate Today Stamp Set, Celebrate Today Die and Celebrate 6X6 Paper Pack. Besides that, I also will be listing below the link for the Full List to the Blog Hop, Supply List, and the details on how to win Prizes and how to save with a super Shopping Promo. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step ↓
To begin with, I started by placing inside my stamping tool a Bristol Smooth card panel, and then I lined up over the card panel the cluster from the Celebrate Today Stamp Set, and I’ve got it stamp 2X with Detail Black Ink. So, after I had the stamping was done, I removed the card panel, and I water-coloring the cluster with a mix of pastel hues that I created by mixing a few of the liquid watercolors from the Pinkfresh Watercolor Collection.
So, after I had the water-coloring done, I set the card panel aside to dry, and I moved on to create the card panel for the card. For the card panel, I lined up the largest die from the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set over one of the patterned papers from the Celebrate 6X6 Paper Pack, and I ran them through the die-cutting machine to add the stitching details to it. Once, I had that done, I went ahead to die-cut the cluster out the card panel using the Celebrate Today Die, and I’ve got 2 sentiments from the stamp set stamped with black ink over a piece of white cardstock. So, therefore after I had the pieces completed, I adhered the backing of the patterned card panel to an A2 top folding white card base with double-sided tape, and I mounted the cluster and the sentiment with craft foam tape to add dimension. And, finally to finish the card off I glued down here and there some jewels to add a touch of shine.
As for the second example, I placed inside my stamping tool a white card panel, and then I’ve got the flower from the Celebrate Us Stamp Set stamped with black detailed ink over the white card panel. This is a layering stamp so therefore, right after I had the first layer stamped, I lined up the second layer, and I went ahead to get it stamp with Coral Reef Ink. Lastly, I removed the second layer and I placed the last layer and I went ahead to get it stamp with Passion Fruit Ink. As for the leaves, I lined up the detailed layer and I’ve got it stamp it with Olive Ink then, to add more color I went ahead and colored the white spaces using G94 Copic Marker.
So, after I had the stamping done, I went ahead to assemble the card to do that, I ran through the die-cutting machine once again the stitching die along with another patterned paper from the same paper pack. Then, I lined up the Celebrate Us Die Set over the stamped image, and I went ahead to die-cut it out of the cardstock. Right after that, I finished the die-cutting by running through the die-cutting machine the Thankful word die included in the set and I’ve got the shadow layer die-cut out of white cardstock and the top layer out of glittery black cardstock. So, to continue I adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base, and I mounted the cluster with craft foam tape. And finally, I stacked the Thankful die-cutting and I finished the card off by adhering it with square foam adhesives to add dimension and last but not least, I went ahead and got the For you sentiment stamped underneath it with black detailed ink.
