SSS Love You Release┃Inspiration Card

Hello, Friends! It’s Simon Says Stamp - Love You release day, YAY!!! So, therefore, on today’s blog I’ll be sharing with you a shaped “Balloon” card made using the just released With All My Heart Die Set. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by lining up over a large piece of White cardstock the top layer die from With All My Heart Die Set. Next, after I had them both line up, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the first White top layer, I went ahead to repeat the same step 4 more times plus, 1 more time to die-cut it out of Gold cardstock.

Therefore, after I’ve had finished die-cutting all pieces, I went ahead to stacked them all together creating that way a dimensional and sturdy top gold layer. To continue the die-cutting, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of translucent vellum the shadow layer die from the set and then, I went ahead to run them through my die-cutting machine. That said, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the shadow layer, I went ahead to stacked both layers together and then, I set the dimensional die-cutting piece off to the side while I started the balloon shaped card base.

Thus, for the card base I went ahead to line up over a large piece of heavy weight white cardstock the largest die from Balloon Wafer Die Set so therefore, once I had them line up I went ahead to run them thru the die-cutting machine and once I had the first die-cutting balloon done, I went ahead to repeat the same step to die-cut the other half for the shaped balloon card base. Once, I had both die-cutting balloon pieces, I went ahead to place one of them over my scoring board tool and then I traced a scoring line at 1/4’’ of an inch mark. Soon after that I’ve had finished scoring the line, I went ahead to fold it in and then I’ve got adhere a piece of skinny double-sided tape which, right afterwards I peeled off the backing and got both balloon pieces together creating a hinge for the shaped balloon card could open and close.

Lastly, after I’ve had finished adhering the shaped balloon card, I went ahead to set it off to the side while I made a little ink blending as my final step so therefore, for the ink blending I went ahead to line up the Bursting Hearts Stencil over a large piece of white cardstock which soon after I’ve gotten ink blend it with Pinkfresh Studio Inks to be exact these were the colors that I’ve used; Coral Reef Ink, Ballet Slipper Ink and Marigold Ink. Thus, after I’ve finished the ink blending, I went ahead to line up the large balloon die and then, I ran them thru the die-cutting machine.

Finally, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the ink blended balloon out the cardstock, I went ahead to get it adhered with double-sided tape to the shaped balloon card base and then, I wrapped around a large piece of DMC Metallic Thread which I finished with a tied bow (as you can see in the image above) Then, to finish the shaped balloon card, I went ahead to get glue down with liquid glue the layered sentiment and as a finishing touch I went ahead to glue down as well with liquid glue some of the You’re Peachy Sequins to add a touch of sparkle. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this shaped “Balloon” card. As always, I appreciate the time that takes you to read my blog posts.
