Spellbinders NOV-2021 GOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a clean and simple, yet extra glimmering “Holiday” inspiration card made with a combination of November’s 2021 “Curved Christmas Glimmer Borders” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club Kit and this month’s Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club includes 5 glimmer hot plates which 3 add the decorative glimmering borders and 2 which add the curvy glimmering sentiments + 2 dies that get the borders cut.

Thus, as per usual to make this card, I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock one of the decorative curvy glimmering hot plates. And, as soon as I had the glimmer plate line up over the white cardstock piece, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using my Quick Trimmer.

Moving on, once the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the foil stamping done by running the platform through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next, as soon as I’ve got the decorative hot foil stamped over the cardstock, I went ahead to repeat the same steps, but this time to get one of the curvy sentiments hot foil stamping right over the right side of decorative curvy border.

Having that said, after getting the hot foil stamping done over the cardstock, I went ahead to use one of the curvy dies to die cut the decorative curvy border out of the cardstock. At this point, the border was ready to add a pop of color to it but instead I decided to leave it as is, so I went ahead to get the backing of it mounted with craft foam adhesive right in the center of an A2 size side folding white card base in a landscaping form. Then, to add extra dimension to the card, I went ahead to use the curvy die including in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club to cut 2 white borders of out white cardstock, borders which I’ve got right afterwards glue down over the decorative hot foil stamping border for a subtle white-on-white die-cutting look.

Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down some die-cutting flowers which I’ve got die cut using the individual dies including in the same set along with gold jewels to add an extra pop of shine to the card. And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple, yet extra glimmering “Holiday” inspiration card with a combination of November’s 2021 “Curved Christmas Glimmer Borders” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club Kit and this month’s Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
