Thus, if you’re hopping along with us, you’ve should have arrived here from Jennifer Kotas ’blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from the beginning, you will find the full blog hop list below so, you won’t miss a stop. Having that said, let’s jump right in to the step-by-step for how I made this delicate card using this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Club

Therefore, this month’s "Tiara Trifold" Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Club was designed to create a beautiful and delicate tri-fold card however, for today’s example, I decided not to create a tri-fold card base but a regular side opening card so, to do that first, I went ahead to line up the large die over a piece of white cardstock that measured H 5-1/2 x W 8-1/2 inches this die has no cutting line on the left side but has a perforated cutting line on the right side thus, I lined up the die edge-to-edge to the left side of the cardstock piece and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Second, as soon as, I had cut out the top and added the perforated line in the middle of the cardstock, I went ahead to proceed lining up the die once again over the cardstock but this time making sure that the no-cutting line was lining up with the perforated line to cut out the top part from the other side of the cardstock piece. Once, I had that done, I went ahead to fold the shaped card base using my bone folder and then, I used my Paper Trimmer to trim off the excess perforated piece created from the second pass through the die cut machine.

Next, right after I had the card base folded, I went ahead to add the decorative die-cutting steps to it so, to do that first, I went ahead to use the insert die the adds up the decorative tiara die-cutting design to the top of the card base. Second, I used the outlined insert die to cut out the solid decorative piece for the bottom part of the card base by the way, I used light gray colored cardstock for this step. Lastly, I used the outlined die once again but this time, I added the insert lattice die as well to, cut out 3X from white cardstock the decorative bottom piece for the card base.

Moving on, once I had finished the previous steps, I went ahead to layer over the decorative white pieces to add dimension and then, I got the sturdy decorative piece over the outline piece and then, I got the layered pieces glue down to the card base. Having that said, as soon as, I did that, I proceeded to add the decorative floral pieces and the die-cutting card sentiment to the card.

So, to keep it simple, I used the dies included in the club along with White and Gold cardstock to cut out the flowers, greenery, and the card sentiment. Then, to add dimension, I added three layers to the large flowers and two layers to the smaller also, to create a dimensional look on the card sentiment, I added three white layers and one gold layer other than that, I went ahead to get all dimensional pieces glue down over the card base just, as shown on the image above. Last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add some of the Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems to add a slightly touch of sparkle to it.
