Spellbinders JAN-2021 GOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you this “Love” inspiration card made using the latest “Calligraphy Hearts” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

This month the glimmer club includes three beautiful heart glimmer plates in which one of the creates the fabulous calligraphy love sentiment so therefore, to begin with as per usual with every hot foil kit of the month, I started by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. Then, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform. And, while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a large white cardstock panel the three heart plates included in the club kit along with the sentiments.

Once, I had the glimmer plates line up over the white cardstock panel, I went ahead to pick them up using a piece of Press’n Seal to keep them in place and then right after that, I went ahead to transfer them to the platform and then, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold using the Quick Trimmer. So, after the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the white cardstock panel by running the platform through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Moving on, right after that I’ve had finished the foiling over the white cardstock panel, I went ahead to remove the plates from it and then, I used the label die along with the heart die included in this month club kit to die cut them out of the white cardstock panel. Thus, right after that I had the die-cutting pieces done, I went ahead to set them off aside while, I’ve gone ahead to get foiled a second white card panel using Scattered Hearts Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold.

That said, after I’ve had finished foiling the second card panel, I went ahead to trim the edge off from it and then, I went ahead to adhere it with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to trim down a pink card panel to H 5-1/2’’ x W 2-1/2’’ inches which, right afterwards I’ve gotten it mount with craft foam tape in the center of the card (as shown in the image above.) to add a little bit of dimension. Last but not least, to embellish the card, I went ahead to glue down in the center of the card with liquid glue a frame which, I’ve had previously die cut out of white cardstock using the small frame from this month’s Small Die of the Month Kit Club.

Lastly, right after that I’ve had finished gluing down the detailed frame over the card, I went ahead to mount with foam mounting tape my foiled heart sentiment and then, I also went ahead to foam mount the You Melt my Heart sentiment. To finish the card off, I went ahead to embellish the card by gluing down with liquid glue some white die-cutting flowers which by the way I’ve had previously die cut out of white cardstock using the flower dies included in the club kit. Then, as finishing touches, I went ahead to glue down also with liquid glue some gold jewels to add an extra touch of shine! With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Love” inspiration card showcasing the latest “Calligraphy Hearts” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
