Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you an extra glimmering “Encouragement” inspiration card made with a floral look using “Glimmer Burst” APR-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club includes 4 Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. 2 coordinating dies + One Roll of Foil. Thus, as per usual with every glimmer hot foil kit, I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform and then, I lined up the larger glimmer plate included in the set over it.
Then, while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass and once the platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the burst image hot foil stamped over the upper side of an A2 size white card panel. Right after that I had gotten finished getting the hot foil stamping done over the upper side of it, I went ahead to repeat the same step over the lower side of the card panel for a competed background look.
However, if you look closely, I didn’t get the foil stamping done right in the center over the card panel instead I’ve got it done a little more on the upper side of it. Having that being said, as soon as, I had finished the hot foil stamping, I went ahead to trim down 1/4 on an inch from each side of the card panel using my Paper Trimmer and then, I went ahead to get the backing of it mounted with craft foam adhesive over an A2 top folding white card base.
Once, I had the front card panel mounted over the card base, I went ahead to put it off to the side to continue the hot foil stamping for the card sentiment. Thus, to do that, I went ahead to use the 3 hot foil plates included in the club kit to get the hot foil stamped using the same color foil over a large piece of white cardstock. Next, as soon as, I had gotten them foil stamped over the cardstock, I went ahead to use their coordinating die included in the kit to cut the sentiment out from the cardstock and to give them the circle shape. Also, I used the decorative coordinating die to cut out the shape from plain white cardstock as well.
Moving on, I went ahead to get the backing of the card sentiment to the decorative die-cutting shape and then, I got them mounted over the front card panel (as shown in the image above.) Lastly, to finish the card off, I added the floral touch to the card, so to do that, I used the floral dies included in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club to create a wreath around the card sentiment. By the way, in the lower right corner in the image below, you can see how the burst glimmer plate looks if you use it in a landscape form.
And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra glimmering “Encouragement” inspiration card with a floral look using, “Glimmer Burst” APR-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club in combination with "Say Cheese” APR-2022 Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
