Spellbinders GOM & EOM FEB-2022┃Monochromatic Birthday Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a quick and simple yet extra glimmering “Birthday” inspiration card made with a monochromatic look using a combination of “Anytime Glimmer Sentiments” FEB-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Sketched Floral” FEB-2022 Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club it’s all about sentiments thus, it includes six glimmer hot plates. Having that being said, as per usual with every glimmer hot foil kit, I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line the large glimmer plate over the detailed die-cutting white oval.

A die-cutting oval which, I’ve had previously cut out from white cardstock using some of the dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club. Thus, as soon as I had the glimmer plate line up over the oval, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Moondust. After getting the hot foil stamping done for the card sentiment over the oval, I went ahead to put it off to the side so, I could go ahead and add the texture to the front card panel.

Thus, to do that, I went ahead to place a large piece of white cardstock inside of this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month Club and then, I proceeded to add the dry embossing effect to it following, the instructions from my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Once, I had that step completed, I went ahead to cut it in half to make two front card panels and then, I added a pop of color to one of them using an ink blending brush and a combination of Sea Glass, Tropic Teal, and Island to match the glimmer hot foil for chromatic look.

Once, I’ve had finished adding the pop of color, I’ve gone ahead to add a white frost shimmering splattering over the inked card panel using s craft shimmering spray. Then, I went ahead to get the edges trim off from the card panel using my Comfort Paper Trimmer. Lastly, I went ahead to get the backing of the front card panel mounted with craft foam adhesive to add dimension over an A2 top folding white card base, and then, I finish the card off by mounting the detailed white oval over it with craft foam adhesive to add even more dimension to it.

Finally, I went ahead to glue down some tiny jewels around the oval to add an extra touch of sparkle but keeping the same hue for the monochromatic look. And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this quick and simple yet extra glimmering “Birthday” inspiration card with a monochromatic look using “Anytime Glimmer Sentiments” FEB-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Sketched Floral” FEB-2022 Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
