Spellbinders DOML DEC-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a shaped inspiration card made with a “Blooming Floral & Heart” look showcasing: the DEC-2022 "Blooming Heart" Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, to create this heart-shaped card first, I went ahead to line up the heart die included in the kit over the edge of an A2 size side folding white card base. Second, I went ahead to offset a little bit from the top to do a partial die-cutting by leaving the edge of the die out from the die-cutting plate.

Thus, after getting the partial die-cutting process done for the card base, I went ahead to line up the heart die once again to cut out the heart but this time I used a single piece of white cardstock. Once, I had that step completed, I proceeded to get the backing of the single die-cutting heart to the shaped heart card base, and then I went ahead to put the card base aside.

That being said, after putting the card base aside, I went ahead to use the rest of the dies to cut out the greenery shadow layer from Green cardstock and the flowers from Light Pink and Dark Pink cardstock. Also, the flower centers out of Gold cardstock. And so on after finishing the die-cutting process from the flowers and greenery, I went ahead to get glued down every single layer, and then I went ahead to get the right and left layered pieces over the front card panel of the card.

Moving on, after getting the card base embellished with the floral focal points, I went ahead to use the dies included in the kit to cut the card sentiment out of Gold and White cardstock to make it dimensional. So, after adding dimension to the die-cutting sentiment, I went ahead to get the backing of it glued down right in the center of the card.
