Spellbinders Tea/Coffee Cup ┃DOMAPG JAN-2022 Shaped Card

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a very cute and detailed “Valentine’s Day” inspiration card made with a Tea or Coffee cup shape using “Pop Up 3D Vignette Coffee Tea or Me” JAN-2022 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month includes twenty-one cutting dies which cut out all the elements to create a dimensional shaped cup card or a more simplistic looking cup if you skip the vignette step.

Thus, I went ahead to line up each cutting die over pieces of white and gold cardstock to cut out the elements for the cup and its insert to add the detailed layer to it. Also, the handle and the left face for the handle. Besides that, I went ahead to cut out the liquid inserts, the tea and coffee bag, flowers, stems, stirrer and hearts.

Once, I had finished the die-cutting steps for each piece, I went ahead to get the cup assembling started. So, to do that, I went ahead to put each piece together and then, I decided to add the pop-up effect by cutting and gluing down the vignette side pieces on each side of the cup.

Next, I went ahead to put together the coffee and tea bag and then, I added the sentiments to them using the dies including in the kit. As you can see, I decided to add a shaker effect to the tea bag, so to do that, I added some of die-cutting leaves to it along with glitters from my stash, and a piece of translucent vellum to add that frost look from the real tea bags.

In the images above you can take a closer look for how those cute coffee and tea bag look like.

Moving on, after creating the coffee and tea bag, I proceeded to create the layered flowers along with the decorative stirrer using the die-cutting pieces that I’ve had previously cut out from color and gold cardstock.

Lastly, I went ahead to get the cup embellished using the decorative elements, and then I added gold jewels to add extra pops of shine to it. By the way, for the card sentiment, I used one of the hot foil stamping sentiment which I’ve had previously created using one of the glimmering plates including in this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club.

And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this cute and detailed “Valentine’s Day” inspiration card with a Tea or Coffee cup shape using “Pop Up 3D Vignette Coffee Tea or Me” JAN-2022 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
