Spellbinders DOMAPG APR-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a very delicate “Watering Can” shaped inspiration card made using, “Pop Up 3D Vignette Watering Can Bouquet” APR-2022 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month includes twelve cutting dies that add up a 3D effect when using each die. Also, three inserts that add up texture, thus, for today’s example, I used them all to create the watering can bouquet.

So, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of Gold Foil Cardstock the dies that cut out the front part for the watering can and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

If, you are familiar with Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Club Kit, you might already know that they usually have the vignette effect. So, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the dies and then, I ran them through the die cut machine to create that effect.

Having that being said, after getting the die-cutting process done for the vignette effect, I went ahead to get it assembled and then, I got adhered the front and back parts as well as its carrying handle, spout and rose/sprinkler for the watering can. As, you can see in the image above, the club kit includes inserts that add up texture to the vessel/container so, I went ahead to use them to add up the texture to it. And, I also added the die-cutting details for the rose/sprinkler effect.

Moving on, as soon as, I had finished off getting the watering can assembled along with its vignette effect, I went ahead to put it off to the side so, I could have gone ahead to cut out the flowers and leaves.

As for the flowers and leaves, I went ahead to line up the dies over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I added pops of colors to them using some ink blending brushes along with Yellow, Green, and light warm Gray hues. Next, to make it simple, I used a darker green hue cardstock to cut out from it their stems. Nonetheless, I went ahead to get the flowers and leaves assembled inside the watering can just as shown in the image above.

Lastly, to add a little extra texture I went ahead to use Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down some Stakich Bee Pollen to the center of some of the daisies. Then, I went ahead to glue down two card sentiments to create the Happy Birthday greeting for the watering can shaped card. As for the card sentiments, I used this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club along with VersaMark Ink Pad, MISTI Mini Stamp Tool, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded and Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool for the stamping and heat embossing process.

Then, to finish it off, I decided to add an extra pop of sparkle, so to do that, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Gold Jewels. And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this very delicate “Watering Can” shaped inspiration card showcasing, “Pop Up 3D Vignette Watering Can Bouquet” APR-2022 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
