Spellbinders DOM NOV-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this detailed and extra dimensional inspiration card with a “Floral” look made showcasing the latest: NOV-2022 "Layered Floral Card Creator" Small Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club includes a combination of dies that cut out the shadow or base layer for the floral cluster and individual dies that cut out the layers for the flowers, berries and leaves.

That being said, I went ahead to line up the shadow layer die over a large piece of light Green cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next, I repeated the same step to cut out a second shadow layer.

So, as soon as, I had finished getting the die-cutting finish off for both shadow layers, I went ahead to put them off aside to continuing for the die-cutting process for the individual layering pieces for the flowers, berries and leaves. So, to do that, I used each individual die from the set cut get them die cut out of Red, Orange, Yellow, Gold and dark Green cardstock pieces.

Once, I had gotten the die-cutting step for all layering pieces, I went ahead to get each of them gluing down using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to their shadow layer and once, I had finished doing that, I proceeded to get the card assembling started.

Thus, for the card assembling, I went ahead to trim off 1/8 of an inch from an A2 size white card panel using my Paper Trimmer and then right after that, I got the backing of it adhered with craft foam adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Lastly, I proceeded to get each layered floral cluster gluing down in the upper and lower side of the front card panel but facing in the appositive way to create the "Layered Floral Card Creator" over the front card panel. Then, to finish the card off, I added the dimensional card sentiment; card sentiment which I had previously gotten stamped, heat embossing and die cut it out from white cardstock using, a one of the sentiments and its coordinating die from Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club.

Finally, as finishing touches, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down some of the Gold Smooth Discs Color Essentials Sequins in the center of the flowers to add the card an extra touch of shine. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this detailed and extra dimensional inspiration card with a “Floral” look showcasing the latest: NOV-2022 "Layered Floral Card Creator" Small Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
