Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an airy and delicate “Into Spring” slimline inspiration card, I made showcasing the latest: March-2022 “Floating Bunny” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. Along with it, I’ve also used March-2022 “Garden Path” Embossing Folder of the Month Club to add texture to the balloons. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓
Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit includes 14 cutting dies. Having that said, to make this card first, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the die that cuts out the bunny’s body pieces along with the small and large cloud dies and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine (3X) to create more than one bunny and to cut out more than two clouds from the white cardstock piece.
Thus, as soon as I had finished cutting them out, I went ahead to line up over a small piece of light pink cardstock the die that cuts out the inner parts for the bunny’s belly and ears and then, I went ahead to run them through the die cut machine. Next, I lined up over small pieces of green and yellow colored cardstock the dies that cut out the balloons and then, as soon as I had finished cutting them out, I proceeded to add texture to the balloons using this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month Club.
Lastly, to finish the die-cutting process off, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of gold cardstock the dies that cuts out the swing, balloon strings, and words. Then, I went ahead to run them through the die cut machine once, I’ve had finished cutting all pieces off, I’ve gone ahead to get the swing assemble along with the bunnies and then, I added a piece of black cardstock to the back side of the bunny’s heads to highlight their eyes.
Moving on, for the card assembling, I went ahead to ink up a slimline size white card panel using an ink blending brush along with Sea Glass ink. Thus, as soon as, I’ve had finished inking it up, I’ve gone ahead to get its backing adhered with double-sided adhesive over a slimline white card base and then, I placed it in a portrait way. Next, I’ve got glued down with liquid glue some of the clouds over the upper side of it and, I’ve also got some of them mounted with square foam adhesive to add a little bit of dimension.
Having that being said, I’ve got mounted the swing over the lower left side of the card along with one of the bunnies. Also, I’ve got glued down the card sentiment (as shown in the image above.) A die-cutting card sentiment which I’ve had added dimension by cutting them out from white cardstock as well.
Lastly, to complete the card assembling, I went ahead to create a cluster with the die-cutting and textured balloons and then, I’ve got it mounted over the right side of the card. Also, I’ve got mounted next to them one of the bunnies, to create the airy and floating scene. Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some gold jewels to add the card an extra touch of sparkle.
And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this an airy and delicate “Into Spring” slimline inspiration card showcasing the latest: March-2022 “Floating Bunny” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
