Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this clean and simple, yet extra delicate mini slimline “Thanks” inspiration card made showcasing the newest, AUGUST-2021 “Hex Kaleidoscope Tile” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. Along with it, I’ve also used “Hex Tile Stamps” AUG-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit to add the floral touch to the card and Essential Sentiments Clear Stamp Set to for the card sentiment. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓
Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club includes 7 dies on which one of them creates the hex tile frame. Having that said, I went ahead to die-cut the hex tile frame twice out white cardstock using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and once I had that done, I’ve gotten them both stacked to add a bit of dimension.
Thus, as soon as I had finished stacking them together, I went ahead to glue the dimensional frame with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to a mini slimline white card base.
As, I mentioned earlier this set also includes 3 dies that creates the kaleidoscope hexagon tile insert for the 3 sections of the frame, so I went ahead to die-cut the bottom layer out of gold cardstock, the middle layer out of Teal Topaz Cardstock and the top layer out of Waterfall Cardstock. By the way, I repeated this step 3 times for each section of the frame.
Moving on, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting each layer for the 3 hex tile inserts for the frame, I’ve gone ahead to stacked them all up and then, I quickly went ahead to get them glue down to the frame, which was already adhered to the card base.
Lastly, after having the card front completed, I went ahead to get the embellishment done by mounting a floral cluster which I’ve had previously stamped and gold heat emboss over a piece of white cardstock using the outlined floral stamp image along with the filler stamps from Clear Stamp of the Month Club. As, for the stamping steps, I used PFS- Inks in the following color combination Coral Reef Ink, Passion Fruit Ink, Sweet Mustard Ink, Marigold Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink, and Aquamarine Ink. By the way, to add a little more dimension to the floral cluster, I went ahead as well to add some greenery which I created using a combination of the following die sets; Simply Perfect Layered Blooms Etched Dies and Mini Blooms and Sprigs Etched Dies.
As, a final touch I went ahead to add the card sentiment which I’ve had previously stamp and gold heat emboss over a small strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments from Essential Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get some tiny jewels glue down here and there to add a pop of shine to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple, yet extra delicate mini slimline “Thanks” inspiration card made showcasing the newest, AUGUST-2021 “Hex Kaleidoscope Tile” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
