So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓.

Therefore, I started off by lining up the second-to-last from smaller to large slimline die from Slimline - Nested Rounded Rectangles over one of the colored paper sheets from Sherbet Smooth Cardstock Paper Pad - Slimline and then, I quickly went ahead to run them through my die-cut machine. Next, I repeated the same step to die-cut another smaller slimline white panel using an smaller dies from the same set and once, I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to add a pop of shimmer to the slimline panels using Stencils - Cacti along with one of the Ink Blending Tool with Domed Foam Applicators and Premium Pigment Ink Pad - Metallic Frost.

Thus, as soon as I was done adding the touch of shimmer to both slimline card panel, I quickly went ahead to adhere down the largest panel with Permanent Adhesive Roller to a slimline white card base. Next, I went ahead to mount the smaller panel to the card using craft foam and once again Permanent Adhesive Roller to add dimension to it. So, once the card base was completed, I went ahead to set it off aside to start the assembling for the focal point of the card.

As, for the card focal point, I went ahead to use the vacation die word from Decorative Die Set - Travel and Vacation Sentiments to die-cut a few die-cutting words in a rainbow spectrum using the color cardstock sheets from Sherbet Smooth Cardstock Paper Pad - Slimline as well as once out of gold cardstock. Once, I had all die-cutting words done, I went ahead to stack them together (as shown in the image above) and then right after that, I finished the card off by mounting with a skinny piece of craft foam and adhesive to add dimension a sub-sentiment which I’ve had previously stamped with embossing ink and gold heat embossing on a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments from Stamp Set - Wordfetti - Oh So Happy.

For the second example, I made another slimline card, but this time with a die-cutting Hello sentiment. Then, to change things a bit instead of ink blending I went ahead to use the small stamp images from Stamp Set - Spring Sprigs to get the stamping done with Premium Pigment Ink Pad - Metallic Frost over the larger slimline card panel which I created in the same as I did in the previous example using dies from Slimline - Nested Rounded Rectangles and colored paper sheets from Sherbet Smooth Cardstock Paper Pad - Slimline.

So, as soon as I had finished the stamping over the card panel, I went ahead to adhere it down over a white slimline card base and then, I mounted over it a second smaller white card panel which, I’ve had previously layered over a gold card panel to create a slightly gold shadow to it.

Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount over it the dimensional Hello sentiment which I’ve had created previously using alpha dies from Decorative Die Set - Bold Basic Alphabet - Upper and Lower and colored cardstock from the same pad that I’ve used on the previous examples. Last but not least, I decided to add a sub-sentiment as well which I’ve got pre-stamped and gold heat embossing on a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments from the same stamp set that I used in the previous example.

Finally, to finish both cards off, I went ahead to glue down here and there with Smart Craft Glue some crystal sequins to add an extra touch of shine! And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of slimline inspiration cards with a “Summer Vibe’’ to celebrate Scrapbook.Com 7 Sizzling Days of Summer Celebration.
