Sassy Greeting Cards
Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! Do you love sassy fashion greetings? If, yes…then you'll probably relate to the Sassy Fashion Clear Stamp Set by Technique Tuesday as, these fashion-themed sentiments and phrase stamps about shopping are the perfect way to make a statement on your next handmade card or your planner because, why not!? In case you didn’t know, I like to style my planner so, the hand-drawn shoes, boots, purses, and dress stamps are a good way to add accessories to any project itself! You can also check the → Sassy Collection to see more stamps like this! So, without further ado please, keep on reading below ↓
To begin with, I started by trimming slightly smaller than my card base a patterned paper from the Just a Little Lovely Patterned Papers. Next, I adhered the backing of the patterned paper card panel to an A2 size white card base with double-sided tape. Right after that, I ran through the die-cutting machine a piece of white card stock along with the largest die from the Essential Stitched Labels Crafting Dies. Once, the die-cutting tag was cut it out of the white card stock, I prepped the tag with Embossing Powder Tool and, I lined up on the upper side of the tag one of the sentiments and, one of the shoe stamps from the Sassy Fashion Stamp Set to stamp them with Embossing Ink as, I was going to gold heat embossing them with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder.
Right after the heat embossing, I wrapped around a few times a big piece of Pink Burlap String on the lower side of the tag and, I finished the string off with a tied bow right in the center of the tag as, you can see in the picture above. Lastly, to finish the card off, I adhered the backing of the tag with foam mounting tape to the card adding a bit of dimension and, I adhered a Jewel to the shoe and bow just to add a bit of shine.
For the second card, I dry embossed a white card panel with one of the Next Level Embossing Folders. Then, I trimmed the edges of the dry embossed card panel a bit smaller than an A2 size white card base. To add a different look for this example as, you can see, I wrapped around and added the bow of the Pink Burlap String on the side of the card panel instead of the tag. So, once I was done adding the bow, I adhered the card panel to an A2 size white card base an, I set it aside.
In the meantime, I ran once again the tag die along with a piece of white card stock through the die-cutting machine and, right after when I was done with that, I prepped the tag with the Embossing Powder Tool, and I stamped and gold heat embossed off set one of the sentiments from the stamp set. To coordinate the sentiment, I decided to white heat embossing over a piece of vellum one of the dress from the stamp set. So, once the dress was heat embossed, I fussy cut it out of the vellum, and I decided to adhere the backing of it to a piece of the same floral-patterned paper that, I used for the first example. Lastly, I fussy cut it the dress out of the patterned paper and I adhered the backing of it next to sentiment with foam tape to add dimension and, to finish the card off, I adhered the backing of the tag to the card with more foam mounting tape.
As, a finishing touch, I decided to add a jewel to the dress and lots of shimmer by using the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen. That being said, that’s all I have for today, I hope you were inspired with the cards that; I had shared today. Below, you’ll find the supply list for the products used for this post ↓
