Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating their September-2021 Release with a fabulous blog hop. So therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from TaeEun’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful hop.
With that being said, today I’d like to start by sharing with you a this textured, yet extra delicate “Floral” handmade inspiration card made using the just released Lush Peonies Stamp Set, Lush Peonies Layering Stencil Set and Lush Peonies Die Set. Along with this beautiful set, I’m also using Abstract Triangles Hot Foil Plate to add the dry-embossing abstract-geometric and textured card background effect. Essentials: Crystal Mix to embellish the card up and last but not least, PFS- Inks for the layering stencil process. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓
Therefore, I started off by doing the layering stencil process first, so to do that, I went ahead to line up an A2 white card panel over my Stencil Mat, and then I started to line up over it the stencil #1 including in Lush Peonies Layering Stencil Set. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to ink up the card panel throughout the stencil using an ink blending brush along with Ballet Slipper Ink.
Thus, as soon as I had finished inking it up the card panel with stencil #1, I went ahead to keep inking it up the card panel using stencil #2 along with Sparkling Rose Ink and a touch of Warm Buff Ink to get muted a little bit the bright pink, since I was looking for a soft floral look. Then, stencil #3 along with Marigold Ink to ink up the smaller flowers, stencil #4 along with Grassy Knoll Ink and stencil #5 along with Olive Ink and a touch of Warm Buff Ink as well to ink up and warm up a little more the green from leaves.
Next, after I had finished the inking for the card panel, I went ahead to place the card panel inside my stamping tool and then, I got line up over it the large stamp image including in Lush Peonies Stamp Set, to get the stamp image stamped over the inked panel using embossing ink. Thus, after I had the stamping done, I went ahead to get the stamped image heat embossing using Inca Glintz embossing powder. And then, I got line up over it the coordinating die including in Lush Peonies Die Set to die-cut the large floral image out of the card panel. So, I went ahead to run the card panel along with the die through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. And, once I had the die-cutting process finished, I went ahead to dry emboss a white card panel using the instruction from my die cut machine along with Abstract Triangles Hot Foil Plate. And, once I had that done, I went ahead to start the card assembling by adhering the backing of the dried embossing card panel to an A2 top folding white card base with double-sided adhesive. Next, I got the large floral image mounted over the card using square foam adhesive to add dimension.
Lastly, after getting the floral image mounted over the card, I went ahead to embellish the card off by gluing down some clear jewels from Essentials: Crystal Mix and by mounting with square foam adhesives the two sentiments which I’ve had previously stamp and heat emboss over small pieces of white cardstock. With that said, I hope this textured, yet extra delicate “Floral” handmade inspiration card inspire you to give the set a try!
