Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating their September-2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, Washi & Hot Foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. So therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from Wanda’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful blog hop.

With that being said, today I’d like to share with you a delicate set of holiday cards with a “Pastel & Glimmering” look showcasing: Brushed Sentiments Holiday Hot Foil, Brushed Sentiments Holiday Stencil, Brushed Sentiments Holiday Die, Festive Leaves Background Stencil, Festive Leaves Background Die, Snowflakes Background Stamp, Holiday City View Stamp and Holiday City View Stencil along with PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors plus, Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set, Simply Diamonds Die, and Solid Hot Foil Plate to add extra details and to get the reverse hot foil stamping to stretch out the card sentiments. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓

Therefore, I for the first example, I started off by creating the snowflake background over an A2 size white card panel using; Snowflakes Background Stamp along with Misty Coast Ink to achieve a subtle look over it. Next, as soon as, I’ve got finished stamping the card background, I went ahead to add the stitching details to the edge of the card panel using the larger die included in Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set along with Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Next, right after that I’ve had finished adding the stitching detail to the card panel, I proceeded to get the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Thus, after getting the card panel adhered to its card base, I went ahead to put the card base off to the side and then, I used a large piece of white cardstock along with the stencils included in Brushed Sentiments Holiday Stencil + ink blending brushes and the following hues Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink and Ocean Breeze Ink to get ink up the sentiments over the large piece of white cardstock.

Moving on, as soon as, I had finished inking up the brushed sentiments over the card panel, I used Brushed Sentiments Holiday Die which happens to be their coordinating die to cut them out from the cardstock piece. Next, after getting them cut out from the cardstock, I went ahead to cut out a few more from plain white and gold cardstock. Thus, after I had finished completed that step, I went ahead to stack them over to create dimension and to add them a gold shadow just like the way you are seeing them in the image above. That being said, after I had created dimension and adding the gold shadow to them, I went ahead to get them glue down over the front card panel and then, I got the card finished off by adding a sub-sentiment and some of the Jewels: Glacier to add the first example an extra touch of shine.

For the second example, I used Simply Diamonds Die along with a die cut machine to cut out the white card background from a piece of white cardstock. Then, I went ahead to get the backing of the die-cutting card background adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Next, to continue, I went ahead to put the card base off to the side and then, I used the stencils included in Festive Leaves Background Stencil to ink up the leaves and berries over a large piece of white cardstock using ink blending brushes along with the following hues; Ocean Breeze Ink, Mermaid Cove Ink, Ballet Slipper Ink, and Coral Reef Ink. Followed by that, I used Festive Leaves Background Die to cut out the leaves and berries from the cardstock. Lastly, after I had finished cutting them out from the cardstock, I proceeded to get them gluing down to the detailed front card panel.

Last but not least, for add the card sentiment, I used Brushed Sentiments Holiday Hot Foil along with a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Gold + Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to get the sentiments hot foil stamped over a large piece of white cardstock. Then, I used the coordinating dies and once I had gotten that done, I added them to the right center part of the card. And, finally to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the jewels that I used in the previous example to add a little touch of sparkle to this example.

For the last example, I used Holiday City View Stamp to get the card background stamped with Misty Coast Ink over an A2 size white card panel. Next, I used the stencils included in Holiday City View Stencil set to add the pops of colors to the houses and, to do that, I used ink blending brushes along with the following hues; Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink, Mermaid Cove Ink, Tidal Pond Ink, and Rocky Slope Ink.

By the way, for the stamping step, I used my MISTI Stamp Tool and, because I did not remove the card panel from it, I went ahead to get the houses re-stamped using Rocky Slope Ink. Having that said, after getting the houses re-stamped, I went ahead to trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side of the card panel and then, I got its backing adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Followed by that, I used two of the dies included in the same stitched dies to cut out from white cardstock a detailed frame; a frame which right after I got it cut out, I proceeded to get it mounted with craft foam adhesive over the card.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to use the leftover foil along with the Solid Hot Foil Plate to create the reverse hot foil stamped look for the sentiments. Thus, after doing that, I went ahead to get the sentiments mounted over the center part of the card and then, I added some of the jewels to add this card an extra touch of sparkle. And, with that being said friends, I hope this set of holiday cards with a “Pastel & Glimmering” look inspires you to give these sets a try!
