And…if you place an order today, Pinkfresh Studio will have two promotions with purchase. Plus awesome giveaways! I’ll be sharing all the details down below along with the two cards that I’ve created using the Spring Floral Die Set and the Scripted Bold Sentiments 1.
So let’s get Started!!!
What a whole lot of inspiration just seeing all of these Amazing Dies and Stamp Sets!
Here are just two different ways on how I used the Spring Floral die set for these Gate Fold cards. I just thought, that this die set is the perfect one to pair with the scripted sentiments from the Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 Stamp set. Both sets are from this wonderful release!
For these card I started by scoring the white card base, the measurements for both card were W 8 1/2” X H 5.5” then scored at the 2 1/8” on both sides. Once they were scored I did a partial die cutting with the die facing inwards on both of its sides with the solid part of the Spring Floral die set, as the set comes with two different parts that are meant to be use one on top of the other. You can see that one is an intricate and the other a solid image once they’re are cut in cardstock. Next I used the coordiated part of the die to create the intricate die cutting out of white cardstock that I adhered later with liquid glue on top of the card base. At this point I was ready to leave as a white on white card base. But I ended up adding splatters of gold and aquamarine using my liquid watercolors paints.
For the inside part of the card I added a piece of vellum that I gold heat embossed by using the Best Wishes sentiment from the Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 stamp set. To finish it up I adhered clear sequins here in there, and I added a piece of bamboo twine that I used as its closure.
For my second example the measurements for the card base were exactly as the first card. Although for this card I did the partial die cutting outwards leaving a straight edge in the card opening as you can see in the picture above.
For the inside of this card I kept it as the first one by gold heat embossing another sentiments from the same stamp set, and by using the same clear sequins as embellishments.
I hope you had a great time here with me, down below is the list of all the products that I used for these cards.
