Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating its February 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. So, therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from TaeEun’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from the → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful blog hop.
That said, today I’d like to share an intricate and dimensional card inspiration made “Floral” look showcasing: the just-released Circle Florals Stamp Set, Circle- Florals Stencils, and Circle Florals Die for the floral touch. . Also, the Art Deco Frame Die to add the intricately detailed frame. And lastly, PFS- Inks and the new addition 1/2 Blending Brush Set and 1/4 Blending Brush Set to add the pops of colors. So, without further ado, let me share how I made it. ↓
Therefore, for the floral touch, I placed an A2-size white card panel inside the MISTI Mini Stamp Tool to get the one-piece floral image stamp included in the stamp set stamped and gold heat embossing using: the Magic Powder Bag to remove the static from the cardstock, the Stamp Press Tool, Embossing Ink, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded, and Wow Dual Speed Heat Tool to get the stamping and heat embossing steps done over the cardstock.
Next, right after getting the stamping done over the card panel, I proceeded to add the pops of color to the flowers and leaves using the 1/2 Blending Brush Set and the 1/4 Blending Brush Set along with the following hues: Marigold Ink, Clementine Ink, Persimmon Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink, and Olive Ink. So, as soon as I finished adding the pop of colors, I used the coordinating and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut the floral pieces from the card panel.
Moving on, to continue with the die-cutting process, I used a large piece of white cardstock plus the Art Deco Frame Die to cut out the detailed frame from the cardstock. Next, I used the insert die from the same die set to cut out a small die-cutting frame from white cardstock to create a second layer effect on the card background for the floral pieces. By the way, you can catch the detailed edge from the die-cutting frame in the image above and how the small die-cutting frame looks mounted with craft foam adhesive to add a layered and dimensional look.
Thus, as soon as I got the layering step for both card panels, I got the dimensional card background adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base with double-sided adhesive. Next, I used the dies included in Nested Circles Die to die-cut the circle frame, and then I used the coordinating hot foil plate included in Nested Circles Hot Foil to add the foiling effect to the circle frame. As for the hot foil stamping step, I used the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll-Polished Brass. Then, to add an extra detailed layer, I used the Geo Tiles Cover Plate Die and white cardstock to die-cut a frame. Once I got the die-cutting frame done, I got it glued down to the back side of the circle frame, and then I used scissors to fussy cut out the excess pieces hanging out of the frame. Lastly, I got the floral pieces glued down to the back side of the circle frame, and then I got it mounted with craft foam adhesive to the dimensional card panel.
Lastly, to finish the card off, I used one of the sentiments included in the stamp set along with the coordinating die including in the die set to create a dimensional heat embossing sentiment which afterward I got mounted in the center of the card just like you can see it in the image above.
And, with that being said friends, I hope this intricate and dimensional card inspiration with a “Floral” look inspires you to give these sets a try!
