Lemons and Blueberries Washi, Stamp and Die┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a very “Intricate and Delicate” inspiration shaker card made using, Lemons and Blueberries Washi Tape, Lemons and Blueberries Die, Lemons and Blueberries Stamp Set, Sweet Hot Foil Plate and Sweet Die from the latest JUNE-2021 Release by Pinkfresh Studio along with this fabulous set, I’ve also used Essentials: Lacey Edgers 1 Die Set for the delicate Lacey edges. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by unrolling the Lemons and Blueberries Washi Tape and then, I went ahead to stick the backing of it to a large piece of white cardstock in the same exact way as I’ve had done it before with previous Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls. Next, after I had finished that step, I went ahead to line up over it its coordinating die which happens to be Lemons and Blueberries Die, and once I had them both line up, I quickly went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut each floral-lemon cluster out of the large panel.

Thus, as soon as I had finished die-cutting all pieces out of the large panel, I went ahead to set them off aside, so I could start the die-cutting for the background card panel. So, to create the detailed and delicate Lacey edge on each side of the card background panel, I went ahead to use one of the dies from Essentials: Lacey Edgers 1 Die Set which soon after, I started by lining it up over one side of an A2 size white card panel and then, I ran them through the die-cut machine 1X on each side of the card panel to add that delicate edge on both sides of it.

Moving on, after I had finished adding the Lacey edge on both sides of the card panel, I proceeded to get it mounted over an A2 top folding white card base using craft foam and double-sided adhesive to add a bit of dimension. Therefore, as soon as I had the card panel mounted over the card, I quickly went head to create the shaker focal point for the card using the lemons and blueberries wreath including in the washi designs.

Thus, I went ahead to adhere a piece of acetate to the back of the wreath and then, I’ve also added pieces of craft foam adhesive to raise dimension, so the shaker elements could have room for movement inside the wreath. Lastly, I went ahead to add an extra piece of acetate to seal the wreath and after having that step done, I quickly got the wreath mounted in the center of the card.

Last but not least, I went ahead to create the card sentiment, so to do that I went ahead to get the Sweet Hot Foil Plate gold foiled over a piece of white cardstock and then, I used Sweet Die which happens to be its coordinating die to die-cut the foiled word out of the cardstock. Nevertheless, I had also gotten stamp and heat emboss over a piece of white cardstock one of the sentiments including in Lemons and Blueberries Stamp Set. a sentiment which, I cut out in 3 pieces using my Tim Holtz - 8.5 Inch Comfort Paper Trimmer, so I could replace the heat emboss sweet word from the heat embossing sentiment with the foiled sweet word instead.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue some of the Jewels: Sunshine which are also including in Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a pop of sparkle. By the way, I’d like to mention that I used fine glitters from my stash as the shaker elements. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this very “Intricate and Delicate” inspiration shaker card.
