Inna's Alpha┃ Wreath Thank You Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this extra dimensional and delicate “Friendship” wreath inspiration card, made using the latest Inna Alpha Stamp, Inna Alpha Layering Stencil and Inna Alpha Die Set sets. Along with these fabulous sets, I’ve also used Blooming Branch Stamp Set for the sub-sentiment. Essentials: Pretty Frames Die Set to add the pretty die-cutting frame and Modern Blooms Die to create the floral die-cutting background. Essentials: Blanket Stitched Circle Die Set to create the die-cutting circle base for the wreath + a combination of Garden Wreath Die Set and Curvy Leaves Die Set to create the leaves for the dimensional/subtle wreath. Besides that, I’ve also used Jewels: Peach Fuzz to add a touch of sparkle to the card, and last but not least, PFS- Inks to ink up the letters and floral accents. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, to make this card I started by getting the inking for the letters, so to do that, I went ahead to get place down over my Stencil Mat a large piece white piece of cardstock that measured H 9-3/4” x W 6-1/4” inches. Next, I lined up over the large piece of white cardstock the stencil #1 from Inna Alpha Layering Stencil Set to get the base for the letters ink up using an ink blending brush along with Warm Buff Ink.

Thus, as soon as I’ve got finished inking up the base for the letters, I went ahead to keep going with the layering for them using, stencil #2 along with Peach Fuzz Ink. Stencil #3 along with Grassy Knoll Ink. Stencil #4 along with Apricot Ink. Stencil #5 along with Coral Reef Ink and last but not least, stencil #6 along with Olive Ink. This awesome layering stencil set has Inna Alpha Stamp Set which happens to be its coordinating stamp set. So, with that being said, right after that I’ve got finished inking up the base for the letters, I went ahead to trim down the large inked panel in half using my Comfort Paper Trimmer, and once I’ve got that step done, I’ve quickly gone ahead to place the inked smaller cardstock piece inside my MISTI Stamping Tool to get the outer layer of the stamping stamped using the coordinating stamp along with embossing ink.

Next, I repeated the same steps for the second smaller inked cardstock piece, and once I’ve got that done, I went ahead to add gold embossing powder to the stamped images. Therefore, after adding the embossing powder, I went ahead to use my heat embossing gun tool to heat set the powder, and once I’ve got that step completed, I went ahead to die-cut the letters using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine along with their coordinating die set which happens to be Inna Alpha Die Set. By the way, I’d like to mention that this set also had their coordinating Inna Alpha Hot Foil Set in case you’re into hot foil stamping.

Moving on, as soon as I’ve got finished die-cutting the letters using their coordinating dies, I went ahead to put them off to the side while I get the card assembling started. So, for the card assembling I went ahead to create the extra dimensional wreath so to do that, I’ve got a circle die cut using the dies including in Essentials: Blanket Stitched Circle Die Set. Next, I went ahead to die cut the leaves out of translucent vellum using one of the dies including in Curvy Leaves Die Set along with one of the dies including in Garden Wreath Die Set. Therefore, after finishing with the die-cutting for the leaves, I went ahead to glue down each leaf around the die-cutting circle using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue until I got fully covered the perimeter of it with them.

Once, I’ve got finished the wreath assembling, I went ahead to put it off to the side while I kept going to die cut the frame and background for the card. So, to create the intricate die-cutting frame I used white cardstock along with Essentials: Pretty Frames Die Set. Then, to create the floral die-cutting background I used white cardstock along with Modern Blooms Die. Having that said, I’ve gone ahead to pop-out the center of the intricate frame and then, I’ve got the backing of it adhered using liquid glue over the floral die-cutting frame.

Soon after, I went ahead to adhere a narrow piece of craft foam adhesive to the perimeter of the layered die-cutting frame to raise a little bit of dimension. Next, I’ve got adhered the backing of the die-cutting background over an A2 size top folding white card base. Then, I went ahead to get the wreath mounted in the center of the card, and last but not least, I went ahead to create a “HEY” card sentiment over the wreath using some of the die-cutting letters. At first, I was going to leave the die-cutting card sentiment only, but then I decided to add a sub-sentiment, so to do that I used one of the sentiments including in Blooming Branch Stamp Set which, I’ve gotten stamped and gold heat emboss over a strip of white cardstock.
TIP: If you look closely, I ended up adding white and sparkle spatters to the leaves, so if happens that you decides to recreate this card or create something similar, add the splatters before you get the wreath mounted over the card for a better control when you’re splattering over it.

Finally, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down here and there some Jewels: Peach Fuzz to add an extra touch of sparkle to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra dimensional and delicate “Friendship” wreath inspiration card using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
