Hello, Darling Floral Greeting Cards
Hi, Friends! I hope you’re having a fabulous Sunday. On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you these 2 darling floral cards that, I’ve created featuring the new; Curvy Floral Vine Stamp, Curvy Floral Vine Die, Layered Bouquet Stamp, Layered Bouquet Die and Sentiment Suite: Hello Die from the new; January’s Release by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado, please keep on reading below ↓
For the first example, I created a Hello square card so, I started by creating the card base. To do that, I trimmed and folded a 4 1/4’’x 4 1/4’’ top folding Kraft card base. Then, I ran through the die-cut machine the Fancy Diagonal Stripes along with white cardstock to create the card panel. Once, the die-cutting was done, I trimmed the edges off from the card panel and I adhered it to the card base. Right after that, I set the card panel aside and I started the stamping.
For the stamping, I placed the branch image from the Curvy Floral Vine Stamp on my stamping tool and, I stamped it 2X on a large piece of white cardstock with Emerald City Ink. Next, I lined up the leaves image and I stamped it with Mint Ink. Then, I lined up the solid image for the flowers to stamp them with Ballet Slipper Ink Pad. Lastly, I lined up the detailed image for the flowers to stamp them with Coral Reef Ink. Once, all layers were stamped, I let set them aside to dry. In the meantime, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Sentiment Suite: Hello Die to die-cut the shadow layer out of heavy weight vellum and, its top layer 1X out of gold cardstock and 2X out white cardstock just to add a little bit of dimension once all die-cutting were stacked as one die-cutting.
Finally, I lined up over the stamped images the Curvy Floral Vine Die and, I ran through the die-cut machine each of the images along with the die to create the die-cutting pieces. To add dimension, I also die-cut it the vines out of fun foam so, once all die-cutting were done, I foam mounted the vines in a wreath form and, to finish the card off, I adhered on top of them the Hello and a sentiment that, I had previously gold heat embossed on a piece of white cardstock (by the way the sentiment is included in the stamp set)
For the second example, I created a standard A2 top folding card. So, to begin with I stared running through the Pretty Frames Die to die-cut the card panel out of white cardstock. Once the die-cutting was done, I carefully removed each of the frames and, I adhered them to an A2 Kraft top folding card base. Right after that, I set the card base aside and I started the stamping process.
Although, I kept it simple by stamping with the same color combination for a cohesive look. I changed a bit the look by using the; Layered Bouquet Stamp and Layered Bouquet Die sets instead of the curvy floral vine sets. As, you can see in the picture above, I stamped the layers in the same order as I did for the previous example. For dimension, I used the coordinated die to die-cut the image out fun foam. And, for the sentiment, I gold heat embossed a sentiment included in the stamp set on a piece of white cardstock which, soon after the heat embossing, I die-cut it out from it using one of the dies from the Basic Label Frames.
Well, that’s all for today friends as, you can see in the picture above, I adhered some Jewels here and there for a touch of sparkle to complete today’s cards. I hope these cards inspire you to give these designs a try! Below; you’ll find the supply list for the products used on today’s blog post.
