Happy Birthday Floral┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this colorful and floral “Happy Birthday” inspiration card made it using You Are My Favorite Coordinating Die Set & You Are My Favorite Coordinating Stencil Set along with them, I also used Sentiment Suite: Happy Birthday Die Set, Simply Sentiments - Hello Stamp Set and Inks by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by lining up a large piece of white cardstock inside my Memory MISTI stamping tool. Next, I went ahead to line up over the white cardstock the stencil #1 from You Are My Favorite Coordinating Stencil Set and then, I went ahead to ink up the cardstock over the stencil using an ink blending brush along with Ballet Slipper Ink for some of the flowers and Marigold Ink for others. Therefore, right after that I’ve gotten the ink blending done for the flowers, I went ahead to keep the ink blending for the detailed floral layer image using Stencil #2 along with Passion Fruit Ink & Clementine Ink to add depth to the flowers.

Moving on, as soon as I’ve had finished the ink blending for the flowers, I’ve gone ahead to line up the Stencil #3 from the set to get the leaves ink up using Fresh Pear Ink. Thus, after I’ve gotten the ink blending done, I’ve gone ahead to line up over it You Are My Favorite Coordinating Die Set to get die-cut the large floral image out of the cardstock piece.

Therefore, after I had finished the die-cutting for the large floral image done, I’ve gone ahead to set it off aside while I’ve got a white card panel dry embossing using Essentials: Nested-Chevron Die and by following the directions from my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. So, as soon as I’ve gotten the white card panel dry embossing, I went ahead to get the backing of it adhered with double-sided tape over an A2 top folding white card base which, right afterwards I’ve gone ahead to add gold splattering over it using Golden Metallic Acrylic Paint.

After having the card panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to use my paper trimmer to cut off the floral image in two parts which right afterwards gotten mounted on each corner of the card base using craft foam tape to add dimension. Thus, after I’ve got them mounted over the card base, I’ve gone ahead to use a pair of sharp scissors to cut off the extra pieces from the card base and then, I went ahead to glue down of them with liquid glue on some parts of the card while I mounted some of them too with square foam adhesives to add extra dimension to the card.

Lastly, I went ahead to mount (as shown in the image above) the layered die-cutting Birthday word which I created by using white and gold cardstock along with Sentiment Suite: Happy Birthday Die Set. Which, I paired with a sub-sentiment that I stamped and gold heat embossing using one of the sentiments from Simply Sentiments - Hello Stamp Set and gold heat embossing powder. Then, to finish the card off I went ahead to glued down in scattering way some of the soft peach jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix and last but not least, I also added a subtle gold splattering over it. With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this colorful and floral “Happy Birthday” inspiration card.
