Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this organic “Hanging Floral” inspiration card made using Hanging Garden Stencil Set from the latest December-2020 Stencil & Die Release by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
To begin with, I started by lining up the Stencil #1 from the set over an A2 size white card panel. Next, after I’ve gotten both line up, I’ve gone ahead to start the ink blending for the hanging leaves over the stencil using an ink blending brush and Misty Coast Ink.
Therefore, I’ve gone ahead to continue the ink blending by pairing the Stencil #2 with Fresh Pear Ink, Stencil #3 with Passion Fruit Ink, Stencil #4 with Sweet Mustard Ink and Stencil #5 with Evergreen Ink. Thus, after I had the whole ink blending complete for the card pane, I went ahead to set it off to the side to let the inks soak into the paper.
So, after the inks complete soaked into the paper, I went ahead to line up over the card panel the largest die from Ornate Banner Die Set and then, after I had them both line up, I went ahead to run them thru my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. That said, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the large banner panel, I’ve gone ahead to add the detail on the pointy center of the card panel using the detail die included in the die set.
Moving on, after I’ve had finished adding the detailed die-cutting step, I’ve gone ahead to place the card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool because, I wanted to stamp a sentiment directly to the card panel for a one layer looking. So therefore, for the stamping step, I used one of the sentiments from Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 along with Detail Black Ink.
Lastly, after I’ve had finished stamping the sentiment, I’ve gone ahead to embellish the banner card panel by adding a wooden button along with a large piece of burlap string which I wrapped around a few times until I finished it off with a tied bow. Finally, after I’ve had finished embellishing the banner panel, I’ve gone ahead to mount it with craft foam tape to an A2 top folding Kraft base card on which I had previously rounded its bottom corners using a round corner puncher. With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this organic “Hanging Floral” inspiration card.
