Folk Art Birds┃Inspiration Card

Folk Art Birds┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Whimsical” inspiration card made using the latest, Folk Art Birds Hot Foil Plate and Folk Art Birds Layering Stencil Set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by trimming down a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using my Quick Trimmer. Therefore, as soon as I’ve had finished cutting down the large piece out of the hot foil roll, I’ve gone ahead to line up the Folk Art Birds Hot Foil Plate over an A2 size white card panel along with the foil and then, I’ve kept going to get the card panel foil stamped using my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Therefore, right after that I’ve had finished the foil stamping over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to get it ink up using its coordinating Folk Art Birds Layering Stencil Set along with the following ink color combination; Ballet Slipper Ink, Peach Fuzz Ink and Coral Reef Ink for the flowers. Fresh Pear Ink and Grassy Knoll Ink for the leaves plus, Blue Jay Ink and Slumber Ink for the birds.

Thus, after having all the layered stenciling for the foil stamped images, I went ahead to line up over them its coordinating Folk Art Birds Die and then, I went ahead to die-cut them out from the card panel by running them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. So, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting them, I’ve gone ahead to set them off aside so, I could get the assembling for the card started.

So, for the card assembling I went ahead to glue down over an A2 size top folding white card base with Bearly Art Mini 2 fl oz Precision Craft Glue + Tip Kit a detailed die-cutting card panel which I’ve had previously created out of white cardstock using Essentials: Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die. Next, I went ahead to get each of the images mounted (as shown in the image above) using square foam adhesives to add dimension over the card base. Therefore, as soon as I’ve had gotten all images mounted, I went ahead to finish the card off by mounting a sentiment which I’ve had gotten previously stamp and heat embossing over a strip of white cardstock using, one of the sentiments from Simply sentiments: Thank You Stamp Set.

Finally, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue some crystal from Essentials: Crystal Mix to add an extra touch of sparkle to it! And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Whimsical” inspiration card.
