Foliage Frame, Photo Framed Card

Foliage Frame, Photo Framed Card

Hi, Friends! I hope you’re having a fabulous Friday! Today, I’d like to share with you this very simple card that, I’ve created with a Photo Frame Card Base that, I found at my local craft store. Along with the photo frame, I also used; the delicate Foliage Frame Inset Die to embellish the frame, and Phrase Builder: Sending Die Set for the sentiment both die set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado, please keep on reading below ↓

To begin with, I started by creating the rainbow with splatters background. To make it even easier, I used washi tape. The washi tape that, I used was the Rainbow with Splatters Washi Tape also by Pinkfresh. So, I unrolled the washi from the roll, and I adhered it to an A2 white card panel. Once, I had the card panel ready, I inserted it in the placement where the photo should be placed in the photo frame card base. Then, right after that, I set the card base aside and I started the die-cutting.

For the die-cutting part, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the Foliage Frame Inset Die to die-cut it 2X out of white cardstock. Once, both die-cutting pieces were done, I carefully adhered one of top of the other with liquid glue. As, you can see in the images above, I only adhered the frame and not the leaves. This step was totally not necessary but, I did it this way because, I wanted the frame to have a little bit of dimension by having the foliage hanging over the rainbow background. So, once I had the foliage frame ready, I adhered the backing of it with liquid glue to the frame of the card base, and I set it aside.

At this point, I only needed it to add a sentiment to the card. So, I decided to run through the die-cutting machine 2 word dies from the Phrase Builder: Sending Die Set to die-cut their top layer 1X out of champagne glitter color cardstock, 2X out of white cardstock, and their shadow layer out of heavy weight vellum. Once, all die-cutting pieces were done, I stacked them all and I adhered the words to the card base as shown above.

Lastly, after adhering the die-cutting words that created the Sending Love sentiment, I adhered a few pink jewels here and there from the Jewel Mix Set just, to add a touch of sparkle. With that being said, I hope this Foliage Frame, Photo Pramed Card inspire you to give it a try! Below; you’ll find the supply list for the products used on today’s blog post.
