Floral Vase Stamp and Stencil┃Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a quick and simple almost “One Layer” inspiration card made using, Floral Vase Layering Stencil Set from the latest JUNE-2021 Release by Pinkfresh Studio which, by the way is the coordinating stencil set for the previous released Floral Vase Stamp Set and Floral Vase Die Set. Thus, along with this fabulous set, I’ve also used PFS- Inks to add the delicate pop of color to the leaves and flowers, and without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by placing an A2 size white card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch and then, I went ahead to line up over it stencil #1 from Floral Vase Layering Stencil Set to get the inking started using Grassy Knoll Ink to ink up the leaves and Ocean Breeze Ink to add a subtle touch for the vase.

Next, I removed the first stencil and then, I quickly lined up over the card panel stencil # 2 to ink up the eucalyptus leaves with Fresh Pear Ink and I added the shadow layer to the vase with Ocean Breeze Ink. Although, I used the same color ink in both stencils, I decided to go a bit heavier with the inking this time to darken it up a bit.

So, on and so forth I went ahead to line up stencil #3 to add the last shadow layer to the vase using Tidal Pond Ink plus, Olive Ink and Soft Lilac Ink for the leaves. Then, stencil # 4 along with Soft Lilac Ink for the flowers, and last but not least, stencil# 5 along with Candy Violet Ink to add the purple shadow to the flowers.

Thus, as soon as I had finished the ink up for the floral vase stenciled image, I went ahead to place the inked card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool and then soon after that, I quickly went ahead to line up its coordinating stamp image over it from Floral Vase Stamp Set the flowers to get it stamped twice over it the inked flowers with Detail Black Ink.

Lastly, after I had finished the stamping over the inked flowers, I went ahead to trim off the edges from the card panel a bit smaller than the card base using my Tim Holtz - 8.5 Inch Comfort Paper Trimmer and the right after that, I got the panel mounted with double-sided adhesive over an A2 top folding white card. Nevertheless, I also mounted a layered sentiment to add a slightly amount of dimension, a sentiment which by the way, I’ve had previously stamped with embossing ink and heated emboss it with white embossing powder over a piece of light purple color cardstock.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue a combination of Metallic Pearls: Silver and Jewels: Lavender to add a pop of sparkle. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made a quick and simple almost “One Layer” inspiration card.
