Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a “Floral” inspiration card with a pop of water-coloring made using; Floral Bunch Stamp Set and Floral Bunch Die from the latest release by Pinkfresh Studio along with this beautiful set, I’ve also used Ornate Banner Die Set and a combination of some of the PFS Watercolors + Mijello Mission Gold Water Color Palette. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, to begin with I started by placing a watercolor panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool and once I had it onto place, I went ahead to line up over it the large floral stamp image from Floral Bunch Stamp Set. Thus, as soon as I had finished lining it up, I went ahead to get the floral image stamped twice over the watercolor panel using Detail Black Ink.
So, as soon as I had finished the stamping for the floral image, I went ahead to place it over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch and then, I’ve gotten it secured using the magnets from it. Right after that, I went ahead to add a quick pop of watercolor to the image by painting it using a mix of hues which I’ve had previously mixed on my watercolor mixing palette using a combination of cool and warm hues from PFS Watercolors + Mijello Mission Gold Water Color Palette.
Having that said, as soon as I had finished the water-coloring process, I went ahead to set it off aside to let it dry out. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up the largest die from Ornate Banner Die Set over a large piece of watercolor paper and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the ornate banner out of the watercolor paper.
Moving on, as soon as I had finished die-cutting the ornate banner, I’ve gone ahead to adhering it down over an A2 top folding white card base using, craft foam tape to add dimension. Next, I lined up over the water-colored floral image its coordinating die which happens to be Floral Bunch Die and then, I went ahead to run them through the die-cut machine to die-cut the floral bunch out of the watercolor paper. Lastly, after I had finished the die-cutting process for the floral bunch, I went ahead to adhere it down over the card panel using craft foam tape to add extra dimension, and as soon as I had that done, I went ahead to mount with square foam adhesive the sentiment in the lower right side of the card. By the way, for the sentiment I used one of the sentiments including in the stamp set along with black cardstock and white heat embossing powder.
Last but certainly not least, I went ahead to glue down here and there with Bearly Art Mini Precision Craft Glue some pink jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a pop of shine to the card! And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Floral” inspiration card.
