Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an extra dimensional “Celebrate” slimline inspiration card made using the latest Celebrate Hot Foil Plate and Celebrate Die by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
To begin with, along with the hot foil plate and die I also have used Friendship Blooms Die Set and Friendship Blooms Layering Stencil Set with a full array of PFS- Inks.
Although this gorgeous floral set has its coordinating Friendship Blooms Stamp Set, I decided to skip the stamping process for a no-line stenciling look. Therefore, for the ink blend and stenciling process, I went ahead to use each layered stencil from the set along with a few white cardstock panel to ink up them with Peach Fuzz Ink, Coral Reef Ink and Apricot Ink for the coral flowers. Sweet Mustard Ink, Marigold Ink and Persimmon Ink for the yellow flowers . Ocean Breeze Ink, Aquamarine Ink and Mermaid Cove Ink for the aqua flowers and last but not least, Grassy Knoll Ink and Olive Ink for the leaves.
Thus, after having all the layered stenciling for the flowers and leaves, I went ahead to line up over them their coordinating dies and then, I went ahead to die-cut them out from the cardstock panels by running them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. So, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting for them, I’ve gone ahead to set them off to the side while I could get the assembling for the slimline card started.
Moving on, for the assembling I went ahead to add texture to a white card panel by creating an impression over it using Inverted Diamond Stencil therefore as soon as I’ve had finished creating the dry impression over it, I went ahead to trim off the edges from it and then, I’ve gotten it adhered with double-sided tape to a slimline white card base. Next, I went ahead to die-cut a gold frame using the 2 smaller dies from Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set which soon afterwards I’ve gotten mounted it over the card using narrow pieces of craft foam tape adding dimension to it.
Lastly, I went ahead to create a large floral cluster using the die-cutting flowers and leaves and once I’ve had finished doing that, I kept going to mounted it over the card using liquid glue and pieces foam mounting tape to add dimension to it. Nevertheless, I went ahead to mount the foiled/die-cutting Celebrate sentiment which I’ve had previously created by using Celebrate Die, Celebrate Hot Foil Plate along with Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass, Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
Finally, after having the card finished, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue some yellow jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a touch of sparkle to it! And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra dimensional “Celebrate” slimline inspiration card.
