Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this extra “Sparkling Floral-Shaker” inspiration card made using the newest; Bougainvillea Print Hot Foil Plate, Bougainvillea Print Layering Stencil Set, You Sparkle Hot Foil Plate, and You Sparkle Die by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Since, I’m using Bougainvillea Print Hot Foil Plate, and You Sparkle Hot Foil Plate I’d like to mention that this card design requires a use of a hot foil machine platform therefore, I’ll be using my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform along with Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass. Therefore, I started by getting a white card panel foiled using as I mentioned in the beginning Bougainvillea Print Hot Foil Plate and once I had that step done, I’ve proceeded to get the card panel ink up using ink blending brushes along with PFS- Inks.

Thus, to get the card panel ink up, I used the coordinating stencil including in Bougainvillea Print Layering Stencil Set along with Fresh Pear Ink and Grassy Knoll Ink for the leaves. And, as for the flowers I used Ocean Breeze Ink and Mermaid Cove Ink. So, as soon as I’ve had finished getting the card panel ink up, I’ve gone ahead to trim off the edges from it a bit smaller than the base and then, I’ve gotten adhered down the backing of it with double-sided tape to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Moving on, to create the shaker window frame, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of gold cardstock the largest die from Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set and then right afterwards, I ran then through the die-cutting machine. Next, I went ahead to repeat the same step but this time to die-cut the frame out of white cardstock.

So, after having both die-cutting scalloped frames done, I went ahead to separate the inner and outer scallop edges from both die-cutting frames and then, I’ve gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue the gold outer scallop frame over the card background panel. And, then I’ve gone ahead to get a piece of acetate adhered to the backing of the inner scallop frame using 1/8’’ double-sided which soon after I’ve added dimension to it by adhering skinny pieces of craft foam tape. And, to finish the shaker window off, I went ahead to add a quite amount of glitter to the card panel and then, I finished it off by mounting the inner scalloped frame over it.

Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue over the shaker window the foiled sentiment which I’ve had previously created using; white cardstock along with You Sparkle Hot Foil Plate and You Sparkle Die. Last but not least, I’ve also glued down with liquid glue here and there some of the teal jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix complimenting that way the colors from the foiled background and to add an extra touch of shine as well! With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra “Sparkling Floral-Shaker” inspiration card.
