Be Strong┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Organic” inspiration card made using; Be Strong Stamp Set, Be Strong Die Set and Be Strong Layering Stencil Set by Pinkfresh Studio along with this beautiful set, I’ve also used Rare & Beautiful Stamp Set and Rare & Beautiful Die Set to create the card sentiment + Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the diagonal stitched detail to the frame and of course PFS- Inks for the ink process. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

As per usual with every layering stencil set, I started by ink up a white card panel using the layering stencils including in Be Strong Layering Stencil Set. Therefore, to do that, I went ahead to place an A2 size white card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch. Next, I went ahead to line up stencil #1 from over it and then, I secured them both using the magnets from it so I could start the ink blending over it.

That said, I’ve done ahead to get the card panel ink up through the stencil using an ink blending brush with a combination of Grassy Knoll Ink and Ink Olive Ink + a tiny touch of Warm Buff Ink to warmth up a bit the green. Thus, as soon as I had finished the ink blending for the leaves, I went ahead to line up the stencil #2 and then, I’ve gotten the ink blending through it for the flowers using Ballet Slipper Ink and a touch of Coral Reef Ink.

So on and so forth, I went ahead to use stencil #3 along with Marigold Ink and Clementine Ink. Stencil #4 with Coral Reef Ink to add the detailed layer for the flowers, and stencil #5 with Olive Ink to add the detailed layer for the leaves. Once, I had finished the ink blending over the card pane, I went ahead to ink up a second card panel in the same exact way, and as soon as I them both completed, I went ahead to line up its coordinating die including in Be Strong Die Set over one of the inked panels and then, I immediately went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the flowers and leaves out of the card panel.

Thus, as soon as I had finished die-cutting the leaves and flowers out of the first card panel, I went ahead to repeat the same step for the second card panel. That said, right after that all my die-cutting pieces were completed, I proceeded to create the floral background pattern for the card. So, to do that, I went ahead to carefully glue down here and there each floral and leaves cluster over a white card panel using Bearly Art Mini Precision Craft Glue until a the floral pattern was created over the entire card panel.

Therefore, as soon as I had finished creating the floral pattern over the card white panel, I went ahead to line up over it the largest die including in Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set and then, I quickly went ahead to run them both through my de-cutting machine to die-cut the panel out it and to add the stitching detail edge to it. Lastly, I went ahead to adhere down the backing of the card panel to an A2 top folding Kraft base using craft foam tape to add a bit of dimension and then I set it off aside while I’ve gone ahead to create the card sentiment.

As for the card sentiment, I went ahead to line up the sentiment die including in Rare & Beautiful Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through the die-cutting machine a few times because, I wanted to create a sturdy and layered sentiment. That said, after I had all die-cutting sentiment done, I’ve gone ahead to stacked them all and then, I left one of them to get the coordinating sentiment including in Rare & Beautiful Stamp Set stamped and heat embossing with gold embossing powder.

Finally, as soon as I had finished the heat embossing, I went ahead to glue down the heat embossed sentiment over the sturdy sentiment and then, I proceed to get it glue down over the card (as shown in the image above.) Last but certainly not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add pop of shine by gluing down here and there some clear crystals from Essentials: Crystal Mix.
Quick Note: I mentioned at the beginning of this post that I was going to use the coordinating stamp set as well to create this card, but I decided to skip that at the end for a subtle look, however, I did use acrylic white paint to add little dots and highlights to the flowers. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Organic” inspiration card.
