You Are Amazing + Thank You Card
Hello dear Friends!
I hope your day is full of Joy and Happiness. On today’s blog I would like share with you the last 2 cards featuring the Peruvian Lily flowers. If, this is your first time visiting my blog you can click here to see the inks and colors that I used to stamp these Pink and Turquoise combination. So, that being said Let’s Get Started!

For my first example, I created an encouragement card. So, I started by die cutting a standard A2 size white card panel with the Striped Leaf Cover Die. Then, I adhered the backed of it with liquid glue to a white card base.
For the flowers, I adhered one on top of the other in diagonal position as you can see in the picture above. Also, I adhered the leaves. First, I thought about positioning the leaves in different places but I ended up adhering them in each side of the second bottom flower. Then, I stamped in a piece of white carstock one of the sentiments from the Sketch Lotus Flower stamp set. Last but not least I used as embellishments 3 of the Clear Round Drop
For my second example, I changed it a little bit by creating an gate fold Thank You card. For this I started by scoring 4 lines in a white card base that measured H 5’5’’ X 12’’ the lines were scored at 2’’, 4’’, 8’’ and 10’’ then, I used the bone folder to create very crispy folds. After the folding I cut it in diagonal from the middle starting point to the center of the card at 2.75’’ to 4’’ score line in each side , I did the same thing from the other side. I cut it out from the 8’’ fold to the last edge of the card also at H 2.75’’. The next step is completely unnecessary as you can leave as it is. But, I had an embossed card panel in my stash so I decided to added it on the back of the first gate. Those pieces measured H 5’’ X 1 7/8’’ and I did a diagonal cut too as you can see in the picture above.
For the floral part, I cut an oval out of white cardstock and I adhered the backed of it on top of the first fold. Then, I adhered the flower arrangement along with the leaves. For the inside of the card, I added a small top fold note card that measured H 5.25’’ X W 3 7/8’’ and I die cut a simply Thank You out of white cardstock. To finish it up I adhered 2 of the Assortment Moonshine sequins adding a little bit of shine.
