Without further ado, let me share the cards that I created for this collaboration blog hop.
For the first example I white heat embossed the largest image of the stamp set on a large piece of water color paper, as I was going to use watercolors as my color media for both of today’s examples. Next I water colored it with a combination of pinks, oranges, yellows and greens tones. For the background I added a touch of blue as you can see in the picture above, then I let it dry for a few minutes. Once all the water coloring was dried out I trimmed the card panel down to a standard A2 size, then I gold heat embossed two of the sentiments from the stamp set above the flower. Last but not least, I adhered the backed of the card panel to a white side folding card base and I adhered a few crystal clear sequins here and there.
For the second example, I repeated the white heat embossing as the previous card. However I changed a bit by slightly water coloring the flower with orange, yellow, green and a touch of gray. For the background I kept the same idea as the previous card by adding a touch of blue to it. After the water coloring was done I set it aside. In the meanwhile I die cut 3X out of white card stock the two words by using the coordinated die. Next I glue them down one on top of the other with liquid glue creating dimensional words. Once they were stick together I decided to gold heat embossed them as you can see them in the picture above. Last but not least, I trimmed the card panel down to a standard A2 size and I adhered the backed of it to a white side folding card base.
To finish it up I adhered both of the gold heat embossed words with liquid glue to the card.
I hope you had a great time here with me, down below is the blog hop line up list for all of the amazing participating blogs.
