Let's get started

Hello,

If you would have asked me 7 moths ago about what I think about blogging, I wouldn’t have been able to answer that question. Even though since the beginning I thought about having one, and that was what made me get a domain.

For those who doesn’t know what a domain is, let me explain it to you.
Domain is the part of a network address that identifies it as belonging to an individual or organization. In other words, it is your online unique address.

Before getting started

Before I started my blog, I had to learned how and where to type out my posts. The idea of creating a blog was scary I am not going to lie to you, after having stressful days on learning I can tell you is less scary that what I thought.

What platform to use

Once you are ready to start a blog, the next step is to figure out which blogging platform to use. And that is a though choice, since they are several different blogging platforms out there. Some are free or have a free trial, all you need to do is figure out which one is right for you, by going over the pros and cons of the most popular options.

The resources

There are so many resources today, that teach you step-by-step how you can get started, creating your own website within a few minutes or a few days. All depends on your ability to learn. Therefore, you shouldn’t be afraid. Once you know how to create blog posts suddenly you will engage socially with the new skills acquired during the process.
The skills or mistakes are valuable than you think, they really had helped me within a few days in many ways.

The benefits of having a blog

One of the most benefits of blogging is the effect that creates on people like me. Because I need to think about what I can type in my blog post. Now I can have a lit bit of relaxing time here in front of my computer typing just like if I were talking to you.
In addition, I am freely to bring content to any subject, literally I can write about whatever I please without disrespecting anyone of course.

The way the blogging works is simple, at least this is what I have learned. Here are 3 easy steps.

1- create your website, set up a blog or any social media where you want to share your content.
2- Choose a topic
3- Start writing

If you ever get stuck and could need some inspiration, simply go on similar blogs and see what already successful bloggers are talking about. Definitely don’t copy their content only get inspiration of what your next blog could be.

The most major step is to be yourself when writing your posts. This will make you come across more natural and people will find easier to read your posts.

The next step is to be as socially active as you possibly can.

Finally, once you have created your blog, you want others to see it. If you use Instagram, make sure to let others know through your feeds and then through out your story post. That’s a clever way to interact with your readers, and if you have other social medias even better.

Additionally, you should have a great profile so people can associate your blog with.

After creating a blog

After creating my blog, I’ve learned so many new things, in such a brief time.
Some of them include:
Making new Friends
Making connection with friends around the world
Helping others
Sharing kindness
Gaining new valuable skills

Extra tip

Other tip going back to a domain, keeping in mind before start blogging is to have a projection of what your blog name or page you would like to have, that way you can open everything at once. Instead of going back and forth, because you never know if your blog can turn into a business one day. If you are afraid just like I was the best way to tackle this sort of issues is to dive in and get started.

Please let me know if this has been helpful to you in the comments section down below.
And don’t forget to spread kindness today and always.

Best,

Yasmin
