Thankful for Friends┃Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, crafty friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a “Friendship-Floral” card made with Thankful for Friends Stamp Set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I’ve made it ↓

To begin with, I started by placing inside my MISTI Stamping Tool a Strathmore Watercolor Panel. Then, right after that I lined up the large floral image from the Thankful for Friends Stamp Set over the watercolor card panel and once both were line up, I went ahead to stamp twice the image over the card panel with No Line Ink for a no-line water-coloring look.

Therefore, after I had the image stamped over the card panel, I removed the card panel from the stamping tool and I transferred it to my Make Art Mini Stay-Tion All-in-One Magnetic Surface. Once the card panel was onto place, I secured it with the magnets from the magnetic surface and then, I’ve proceeded to get the water-coloring- done. For the water-coloring, as usual, I mixed a palette of Pink, Peach, Green hues along with Blue hues using a combination of my Pinkfresh Watercolor Collection along with Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache and White Nights Watercolor Palette.

Thus, once I had the mixing ready, I started the water-coloring so, for the floral cluster I used Pink, Peach and Green hues and for the background I used the Blue hues. However, I after the water-coloring was completely dried, I decided to add more depth to the edges of the card panel using, Storm Ink.

Moving on, after I had the background card panel inked up, I finished it by adding a few water platter using the Distress Sprayer + White Paint, and once I had that done, I trimmed the edges off from it and I mounted the backing of it to an A2 top folding white card base.

Lastly, after I had finish mounting the card panel over the card base, I went ahead to get the sentiment stamp and heat emboss in the lower left side of the card using one of the sentiments from the Thankful for Friends Stamp Set plus, WOW! Embossing Pad, WOW! Opaque Bright White and WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool. Then, as a final touch I adhered down with liquid glue a few tiny jewels from my stash to add a sparkly touch. With that being said, I hope you have enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created this “Friendship-Floral” card. As always, I appreciate the time that takes you to read my blog posts.
