For today’s examples I kept the same design for both cards by die cutting out of white card stock the scallop pieces using two different Classic Edgers dies from the new Essential Dies by Pinkfresh Studios. So, I ran through the die cutting machine the die on different heights of each white card panel. The measurements for all five white card panels that I used for each card were H 5.5’’X W 4.25’’ I'll be explaining you down below how I made the cuts starting from the bottom to the top:
— Cut 1 at 5 1/4’’
— Cut 2 at 4 5/8’’
— Cut 3 at 4 1/8’’
— Cut 4 at 3 1/2’’
— Cut 5 at 2 3/4’’
Once, all of the scallop die cuttings were done I also made the thank you die cuttings for both cards. For the Thank you, I ran through the die cutting machine the shadow layer from the Thank you to diecut out of vellum, and the Thank you top layer out of white card stock. As for the white top layer of the Thank you I repeated that step 3X  per each card, as I wanted it to be sturdier to resist the heat embossing that I was going to do on top of them. As soon as I was done with all of the die cuttings I set the die cutting machine aside, and I started the layering for the card panels.

For the first card panel layout I started by adhering one on top of the other the scallop pieces from the longest to the shortest, however I decided to heat embossed two of the layers by applying Iced Silver embossing glitter on the second, and on the fourth scallop layers as you can see in the picture above. Soon after all of the scallop layers were adhered to the card panel I adhered the white Thank you die cuttings, and I glitter embossed it with the same Iced Silver embossing glitter. Once, the Thank you die cutting was heat set it I adhered it to its shadow layer with liquid glue, then I adhered the backed of it to one side of the card panel as you can see in the picture above. To finish the card panel off I adhered crystal clear sequins here and there for a touch of sparkle, and I wrapped around Metallic Silver thread which I finished with a bow to complement the silver specks from the embossing glitter powder.

For the second card I repeated exactly the same steps as the first example. However I used regular embossing powder in the Misty Sky color instead of embossing glitter.

As for the card panel layout I also changed a bit the design by placing the Thank you on the opposite side of the previous card panel, as you can see in the picture above. And I also changed the embellishments by adhering iridescent jewels, and by finishing the wrapping metallic silver thread on the opposite side.

To finish both cards off, I adhered each card panel to an A2 size white side folding card base.
So, that’s all for today friends! I hope these cards inspire you to give these designs, and the challenge a try! As always I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts.
