Summer Flowers Greeting Cards
Happy Thursday, Friends! Today, I’m delighted to share with you these greeting cards that, I’ve made using these beautiful Summer Flowers Digital Stamps designed by Alex Syberia Design from her new Digital Stamps collection. So… without further ado, please keep on reading this blog post ↓
To begin with, I started by printing these beautiful Summer Flowers images on Strathmore Bristol Smooth. Once, I had them print out, I water colored the first Wisteria image using Purple, Light Magenta and Green tones from my Arteza Real Brush Pen set. Right after, I was done with the water coloring, I set it aside to dry.
In the meantime, I water colored the Summer Wreath floral image with the same colors combination that, I used for the first example. Once, I was done water coloring the second image, I also set it aside to dry.
Right after, I moved on to the third Lupinus image which, I water colored using the same color combination.
Lastly, I water colored the last Summer Flowers image out of the four images that, I had print out on Strathmore Bristol Smooth and, I set it aside to dry.
Right afterwards when all the water colored images where dry, I trimmed the edges of all four Strathmore Bristol Smooth card panels. I used the paper trimmer to cut the edges of two and, the largest of the Stitched Rectangles Die Set to die-cut the edges of the other two card panels. Then, I adhered the backing of each of the card panels that, I had trimmed down with the paper trimmer to two A2 side folding white card bases with foam mounting tape to add dimension. As, for the other two with the detailed edges, I decided to add Ivory Burlap String which, I finished with a tied bow before, I adhered the backing of each of the card panels to their white card bases with foam mounting tape. Once, the card panels were adhered to their white card bases, I finished the cards off by stamping with Versafine Onyx Black encouragement sentiments from You Make a Difference & Floral Cluster Stamp sets. As, you can see in the picture some are stamped and some are adhered as, I stamped some in a separate piece of white card stock. Because, I wanted to fussy cut them so, I cut add some dimension to them by adhering them with foam mounting tape to the cards. Well friends, that’s all I have for today, I hope you were inspired with the cards that; I had shared today. Below, you’ll find the supply list for the products used for this post ↓
