Stylish Script Collection┃Inspiration with Yasmin

Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you these 3 “Stylish Scripted” cards that, I’ve created showcasing the gorgeous Stylish Script Collection by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

To begin with as usual, I started by setting the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine on my craft table then, while the platform was heating up I created the card base for the first example so therefore:
• I Trimmed the edges off from one of the textured card bases included the Card Kit of the month to 4-1/4 X 4-1/4 inches.
• I Lined up the sixth and seventh-to-last dies from the Nestabilities Essential Squares Etched Dies over a large piece of white cardstock, and once they were line up I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

So, right after when I had done die-cutting the white card panel, I went ahead to:
• Line up right in the center of the card panel one of the glimmer plates from the Stylish Script Collection.
• Then, I cut a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold, and I went ahead to get the sentiment foil stamped using the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Moving on, after I had the sentiment foiled over the intricate card panel, I went ahead to mount it with craft foam and double-sided tape to the square textured card base that I had previously created to add a bit of dimension. Then right after that, I finished the card off by embellishing it with a gold die-cutting frame, flowers and sprigs that I made using the June-2020 Large Die of the Month. Last but not least, I glued down with liquid glue here and there some pink jewels to add a touch of sparkle.

For the second example I went ahead to create a standard portrait A2 card so therefore: I lined up over a large piece of white cardstock the second and the last larger dies from the Nestabilities Candlewick Rectangles Etched Dies, and I ran them through the die-cut machine.

So, after I had added the intricate dotted details to the card panel, I lined up over it the Beautiful Ride Glimmer Hot Foil Plate from the Stylish Script Collection, and I went ahead to get it foiled with gold glimmer foil in the upper center of the card panel.

Lastly, after I had the sentiment foiled over the card panel, I went ahead to mount the backing of it with craft foam and double-sided tape to one off the textured A2 side folding white card bases. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add the embellishments that I had previously created so, I adhered down with liquid glue the pink car which I made using the Shapeabilities Sunday Drive Etched Dies. And then, as a finishing touch I glued down flowers jewels to add a touch of sparkle and flowers to the trunk for an extra girly touch.

For the last example, I used the dies from the MAY-2020 Large Die of the Month so, I went ahead to die-cut the shadow layer out of sparkly gold cardstock, the middle layer out of dark pink cardstock and the top layer out of light pink cardstock.

So therefore, after I had the die-cutting pieces done, I stacked them all and I adhered them down over a textured A2 side folding white card base creating that way the intricate card panel.

To create the sentiment, I lined up over a large piece of white cardstock one of the stylish script glimmer plates from the collection, and I went ahead to get the sentiment foiled with glimmer gold foil.

Finally, to finish the card off I lined up over the sentiment the die included in the large die of the month set, and I went ahead to get the sentiment die-cut it out from the cardstock. Then, I adhered down with craft foam tape the sentiment in the center of the card, and last but not least I glued down with liquid glue some jewels to add a touch of shine.
