SSS Blog Party┃Like you, Inspiration Card
Happy Saturday, Simon Says Stamp Friends! I hope you and yours are finding comfort crafting. So therefore, I’d like to invite you to have fun and craft along with us, as we are celebrating United We Craft with a wonderful blog party which starts over at → Simon Simon Says Stamp Blog’ then it’ll continue with a full list of 100+ amazing & talented artists around the world (yours truly included) that have created projects with some our most favorite products from Simon Says Stamp to inspired you to keep creating during these difficult times. So, without further ado let’s jump to the step by step on how-to-make this “Humans Like You” card ↓
To create this clean and simple “Humans Like You” card, I started by mounting with craft foam a white card panel which, I’ve dried embossed and trimmed the edges down to H 5.0’’x W 3-3/4’’ inches over a SSS A2 White Top Folding Card Bases.
Once the card panel was mounted over the card base, I set it aside and I started the die-cutting process.
As for the die-cutting, I ran though my die-cutting machine the SSS Trio Window Die to die-cut the squares out of Gold cardstock, as well as the top layer of the SSS Like you Die which I die-cut it out of the same Gold cardstock.
Lastly, to finish the die-cutting process off, I ran through the die-cutting machine the shadow layer from the die to die-cut it 1X out from craft foam and 1X out of SSS Cotton Candy Cardstock.
So, after all my die-cutting pieces were done, I stacked the layers of the “Like You” sentiment, and I glued it down with liquid glue to the right lower corner of the card panel. Then, I mounted with craft foam and liquid glue the gold squares (as shown in the images above.) Lastly, to complete the sentiment for the card, I mounted with skinny pieces of craft foam and liquid glue 2 sentiments that I’ve previously gold heat embossed and die-cut it out of white cardstock using one of the SSS Sentiment Label Dies. By the way the sentiments are from the SSS Like you Words Stamp set.
Finally, to finish the card off, I glued down with liquid right in the center of each gold square pink glittery hearts which I finished by cover them with Glossy Accent for a shiny dimensional look. Also, I glued down with liquid glue a few sequins mix for an extra Sparkly Look. With that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created today’s “Humans Like You” card using 2 of my favorite products by Simon Says Stamp.
