Spellbinders Seasonal Label Motifs Collection┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a full set of seasonal inspiration cards made with a “Delicate and Sophisticated” look showcasing, the latest Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Spellbinders. Which includes: Spring Label Motifs Etched Dies, Summer Label Motifs Etched Dies, Fall Label Motifs Etched Dies, Winter Label Motifs Etched Dies and Holiday Label Motifs Etched Dies along with Seasonal Motif Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. Besides that, I used Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Gold, Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform, and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for the hot foil stamping look. And a few more glimmer hot foil plates for the card sentiments which, I will be listing below. So, without further ado let’s jump right in to the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, for the first example, I started off by using the dies including in Spring Label Motifs Etched Dies along with Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the flowers and leaves from Pink, Yellows and Greens cardstock hues along with pieces of mirrored cardstock to cut out the metallic accents to the center of the flowers. Next, I used the larger dies to cut out the label from Gold cardstock and then, I used the insert die to add up the detailed die-cutting step to the label by getting it cut out from White cardstock..

Once, I had finished getting the die-cutting process for the flowers, leaves and the detailed label, I went ahead to put them off to the side to move on and add a 3D dry embossing look to a white card panel using Leafy 3D Embossing Folder. That being said, after I had finished adding the dry embossing look to the card panel, I proceeded to trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side using my paper trimmer and the, I got its backing adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size side folding white card base. Next, I went ahead to layer over the die-cutting pieces for the label and then, I got it mounted over the card using craft foam adhesive adding that way a little bit of dimension to it. Lastly, I created a floral cluster with the flowers and greenery and then, I got the floral cluster glue down in the bottom center part of the label. Last but not least, to finish the card off, I added the dimensional and hot foil stamped card sentiment over the upper center part of the label. A sentiment, which, I’ve gotten previously hot foil stamped on a large piece of white cardstock using a small piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Gold and Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform.

Thus, after getting the first example completed with the Spring look, I went ahead to use the dies including in Summer Label Motifs Etched Dies set to create another delicate and colorful card with a Summer look. Thus, same as I did in the previous example, I used the other half part of the dry embossing panel that I had left from the previous example to add texture to this example as well.

Then, to change things a little bit, I used brighter colored cardstocks and then, I added a pop of Aqua color to the butterfly for a better Summery look. That being said, I made this example a portrait design and I changed the placement for the flowers and card sentiment. As, for the card sentiment, I used the same foil hue along with one of the glimmer hot foil plates included in More Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. And, as simple as that, I got my second example completed

As, I moved forward with the Seasons, I proceeded to create a Fall looking card for the third example using the dies including in Fall Label Motifs Etched Dies. That being said, I also used Fall hues for each die-cutting piece.

Thus, after getting the die-cutting pieces completed, I went ahead to get them assembled and then, I put them off to the side. Meanwhile, I added texture to a n A2 size white card panel and, to do that, I used Striped Slimline Embossing Folder so, as soon as, I had finished adding texture to it, I proceeded to trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side of it and then, I got its backing adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Then, after I’ve got finished adhering the card panel to the card base, I moved on to create a cluster with the die-cutting pieces and then, I got it adhered to the right side of the label. Last but not least, I got the label mounted over the card and then, I got the card finished off by adding the card sentiment on the upper left side of the label. A card sentiment, which I had previously created over a piece of white cardstock using the same foil hue and one of the glimmer hot foil plates including in Yana's Special Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set.

For the last example, I used a combination of the dies included in Winter Label Motifs Etched Dies and Holiday Label Motifs Etched Dies. to create a wintry and Christmas design. That being said, I went ahead to use greens and aqua hue for the pine trees, holy leaves and the house. Then, I used Glitter craft foam to cut out the poinsettia and, I also used glittery white craft foam to add a glittery background to the label.

Thus, to keep a cohesive look for the card set, I went ahead to add texture to the white card background using Holly Flourish 2D Embossing Folder then, I got its edges trimming off and then, I got the backing of it adhered to the card base. Next, I went ahead to layer over the label and then, I got it mounted over the front card panel on a landscaping design. Lastly, I went ahead to put together the wintry scene and to add a little extra detail, I added True Snow Craft Supply to the tip of the pine trees and the house’s roof. Lastly, I added some die-cutting snowflakes and the card sentiment finishing off that way the last seasonal card. By the way, for the card sentiment, I used the same foil hue and one of the glimmer hot foil plates including in Yana's Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set.

Finally, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down here and there some gold jewels to each card to add an extra touch of shine to them. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of seasonal inspiration cards with a “Delicate and Sophisticated” look showcasing, the latest Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Spellbinders..
