Hello and Welcome! Today, I’m thrilled to join in Spellbinders for their March-2022 Clubs Kit Inspiration Blog Hop! Therefore, throughout the hop, you’ll find amazing and inspiring projects created by many talented designers showcasing this month’s Club Kits. Thus, if you’re hopping along with us, you’ve should have arrived here from Becca Feeken’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from the beginning so you wont miss a stop. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made this dimensional card using this month’s Large Die of the Month Club Kit ↓
Therefore, this month’s "Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline" Large Die of the Month Club Kit includes six cutting dies which are perfect for making cards, decor, and more. Thus, I proceeded to line up the large die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
Having that said, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting the white decorative piece, I went ahead to use the same die to cut out the decorative piece two more times. Once, out of Green and the other out of Gold cardstock. Then, after getting them cut out from the cardstocks, I went ahead to layer the Green decorative piece over the white and then, the Gold over the Green but leaving some of the inlay pieces for the green (as shown in the image above.) To add dimension to the leaves clusters. Right after, that I got finished the layering process for the decorative piece, I went ahead to get the backing of it gluing down over a slimline size white card base.
Next, I went ahead to place to put the card off to the side while, I went ahead to use the small kaleidoscope dies to cut out the layers three times for each flower using: Pink and Peach hues. Then, I used the smaller floral die to cut a few flowers also, using the same hues I used for the large flower. Lastly, I used the smaller die from the kit to cut out a few leaves from the same Green hue that I used for the leaves clusters. Having that said, right after that I’ve had finished cutting them all, I went head to glue them down over the decorative panel just like, you are seeing it in the image above.
Moving on, to finish the card off, I went ahead to place the card in a portrait design and then, I’ve got mounted with craft foam adhesives one of the card sentiments that I’ve had previously stamped and heat embossing over a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments included in Garden Favorites Sentiments Clear Stamp Set just a little lower from the center of the card. Last but certainly not least, I used my Art Jewels Picker to glue down over the center of each flower some of the Sunlight Gold jewels to add an extra pop of sparkle to the card. Also, to add more foliage, I went ahead to glue down some of the smaller leaves under the smaller flowers as well.
And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Encouragement” slimline inspiration card with an extra dimensional look showcasing: "Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline" Large Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
