Spellbinders June 2019 Small Die of the Month Kaleidoscope Trio Cards

Hello friends! Today I’m honored for taking part of the Spellbinders 2019 Small Die of the Month. So, on today’s blog I’ll be sharing with you three different cards that I made showcasing every single die from the Kaleidoscope Trio. That being said, keep on reading the post! ↓

For the first example I started by die-cutting out of textured white card stock the four layering Petals from the Petal die 8X each, as I was planning to create a flower for a 5X5 card. Once, all of the die-cuttings were done I stacked all of the layers of every single petal, and I adhered the tips of each of them with liquid glue. Soon after, when all the layered petals were stacked together I adhered them to a white card panel that measured 4.5’’ X 4.5’’ creating an 8 petals flower. Then, I adhered the backed of the white card panel with foam mounting tape to a metallic cooper mirrored card panel that measured 4 3/4’’ X 4 3/4’’. Lastly, I adhered the backed of the cooper card panel to a 5X5 white card base.
As, for the sentiment I cooper heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set, that was included in the Spellbinders February Card Kit. Once, the heat embossing was melted I trimmed the edges of the sentiment, and I adhered the backed of it to an extra piece of the same metallic cooper card stock for a little contrast with double sided tape. Finally, to finish it off I adhered the backed of the layered sentiment right in the center of the flower with foam mounting tape.

For the second card I used the layered Circle Die. Even though, this die comes with three layers I only used the top layer to create the flower. So, to begin with I ran through the die-cutting machine the circle die, and textured white card stock 8X to create the die-cuttings. Once, the circle die-cuttings were done I carefully adhered each of them to a white card panel that measured H5 1/4’’ X W 4.0’’ creating the flowers. However, for the center part of the flower I did used all three layers of the circle die, so I ran through the die-cutting machine the bottom, and middle layer to die-cut out of white card stock, and the top layer out of metallic cooper card stock. Once, all three layers were done I adhered each of them on top of the other with liquid glue, and I adhered the backed of it to the center of the flower.
As, for the sentiment I partially cooper heat embossed part of one of the sentiments from the same stamp set that I used in the previous card, and adhered it to the center of the finished flower as you can see in the picture above.

For the last example, I used the Hexagon Die which happen to have three layers as well. So, to begin with I started by running through the die-cutting machine all three dies along with the same textured white card stock 5X each. Once, the die-cutting were done I adhered each of the layers of the hexagon die-cutting, and as soon as they were all stacked together I adhered them side by side on a white card panel that measured H5.0’’ X W 3 3/4’’ as you can see in the picture above. Then, I adhered the backed of the white card panel to a metallic cooper card panel that measured H5 1/4’’ X W 4.0’’. Lastly, I adhered the backed of the layered card panel to an A2 standard size top folding white card base.
And, to finish the card off I cooper heat embossed a hello included in the same stamp set in the bottom part of the card.

To embellish each of the cards I adhered some sparkling crystals for a sparkly finishing look, as you can see and this picture.
‒ First card I adhered them in the center of each of the petals.
‒ Second card I adhered them in the center of each circle.
‒ Third card I adhered them in the center of each hexagon + a few more here and there.
