Spellbinders JUN-2021 DOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a “Landscape” inspiration card made showcasing the newest, JUNE-2021 “Colorblock Landscape” Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started by lining up the largest die included in this month’s small die of the month club kit over a large piece of Waterfall Color Cardstock and once I had that step done, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next, I went ahead to line up the die once again over a piece of Rainforest Cardstock and then, over a piece of Gravel Cardstock and I repeated the same steps for the die-cutting process out of both pieces of colored cardstock.

Thus, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting each colored cardstock, I went ahead to set them off aside while I started the ink blending to create the sun rays over a white card panel. Therefore, to do that I went ahead to line up Sun Burst Stencil over a A2 white card panel and then, I used an ink blending brush along with Mustard Seed and Wild Honey.

Moving on, as soon as I had completed the ink blending over the white card panel, I went ahead to trim off the edges from the card panel using my Tim Holtz - 8.5 Inch Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I started to create the landscaping design over the card panel using the die-cutting pieces which I die-cut earlier from the colored cardstock. As, you can see I used the green die-cutting pieces for grass, Teal to represent water and light gray the hills.

Lastly, right after that I had finished gluing down some die-cutting pieces using Bearly Art Mini Precision Craft Glue and square foam adhesives to add dimension over the card panel, I went ahead to use a pair of scissors to trim off the edges from the card panel and then, I proceeded to mount the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base using craft foam adhesive to add even more dimension.

Last but not least, I went ahead to add a little sparkle by adhering down here and there some self-adhesive Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Landscape” inspiration card made showcasing the newest, JUNE-2021 “Colorblock Landscape” Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
