Happy Saturday, Friends! Today, I’ll be sharing with you this water-colored “Fall” card inspiration made using the just released “Crimson Fall” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓
To begin with, as per usual with every hot foil kit of the month, I started by setting up on my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine then, I turned on the glimmer hot foil platform. Therefore, while the platform was heating up, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold using a sharp pair of scissors. So, after the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I’ve gone ahead to get half of a Strathmore Smooth Bristol panel foiled using the gold foil piece and the glimmer plate included in the kit. Thus, after I’ve done foiling the first half of the card panel, I’ve gone ahead and repeat the same step in the other half of the card panel for a complete foiled frame look.
Moving on, after I’ve had finished the foiling for the card panel, I’ve quickly gone ahead to do a quick wash of watercolor over the leaves using a mix of Pink, Orange, Red and Yellow hues for a warm Fall vibe. Therefore, after I’ve done water-coloring the frame, I’ve gone ahead to set it aside to let it air dry. In the meantime, I’ve gone ahead to foil the sentiment using gold glimmer foil and one of the glimmer plates included in the kit. Thus, after I’ve done foiling the sentiment, I went ahead to line up one of the oval dies from the Nestabilities Candlewick Ovals Etched Dies set, and once I’ve had them lined up, I’ve ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Last and not least, after I’ve had finish die-cutting the sentiment, I’ve repeated the same step but this time to die-cut the oval out of gold cardstock.
Lastly, after I’ve finish die-cutting the pieces and the water-colored panel was completely dry, I’ve started the assembling for the card. Thus, for the assembling, I went ahead to trim the edges off from the card panel slightly smaller than the card base and then, I’ve gone ahead to adhered it down with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Soon after that, I’ve gone ahead to stack the die-cutting oval and last but not least, I’ve gone ahead to foam mount the stacked oval sentiment (as shown in the image above) and, finally to finish the card off, I’ve gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue crystal sequins to add an extra sparkly look. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step on how I’ve created this water-colored “Fall” card inspiration using the just released “Crimson Fall” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
