Spellbinders DOM FEB-2023┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share this delicate and intricate inspirational card made with a “Tile & Floral” look featuring: "Floral Mini Tiles" FEB-2023 Small Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, I used the diamond floral tile shape included in the die set, and then I used the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and pieces of dark yellow cardstock to cut out a few diamond shapes from it.

Once I had the die-cutting step for the floral tiles, I set them aside, and then I used the smaller dies included in the die set to cut out the layered floral images from a combination of light pink, dark pink, and navy cardstock hues.

So, as soon as I had finished the die-cutting step for the layered floral images, I proceeded to put together the die-cutting floral pieces over the diamond-shaped tiles.

Nevertheless, after putting them all together, I got trimmed down 1/8 of an inch from each side of an A2 size white card panel, and then I created a pattern over the lower side of the card panel with them. Lastly, after getting the pattern created over the card panel, I added craft foam adhesive to its backing to add dimension, and then I got it glued down to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Lastly, I finished the card by adding a small hot foiled sentiment to the upper center part of the front card panel, and then I added a sparkling touch to the floral tiles by gluing down some of the Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems. By the way, for the card’s sentiment, I used one of the two sentiments included in the "Tulip Border" FEB-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club.
