Spellbinders DOM AUG-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a very dimensional inspiration card with a “Floral” look made showcasing the latest: AUG-2022 ""Outlined Sentiments"" Small Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club includes 17 cutting dies that cut out some small and large flowers, the greenery and the shadow layer along with their outlined top layer for the sentiments. Having that said, to create the small decorative die-cutting floral clusters, I went ahead to line up the floral and greenery dies over pieces of Orange, Aqua and Green cardstock hues and then, I proceeded to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Next, right after that I had finished the die-cutting process for the floral clusters, I went ahead to line up the smaller dies included in the set to cut out the flower’s centers from Gold cardstock. Also, from the same gold cardstock, I got cut out the outlined layers for each sentiment. And then, I got cut out their shadow layers from white cardstock.

Moving on, to finish the die-cutting process off, I went ahead to use the two larger dies included in Nestabilities Candlewick Rectangles Etched Dies to cut out the detailed frame from white cardstock. That being said, after getting the detailed frame cut out from the white cardstock, I proceeded to get the card assembling started so, to do that, I went ahead to get the backing of the detailed card panel adhered with Double Sided Adhesive Foam to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Then, I assembled the die-cutting pieces and then, I created with them two small floral clusters; floral clusters which, I got afterwards adhered to the lower left and upper right corners of the detailed card panel. In addition to that, I also added to them a few stamped and die-cutting berries for a fuller look. As for the berries, I used the stamp image and its coordinating die both included in this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club. Lastly, to finish the card off, I got both pieces layered over to create the For You card sentiment and then, soon after I’ve got it mounted in the center of the card.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra dimensional inspiration card with a “Floral” look showcasing the latest: AUG-2022 ""Outlined Sentiments"" Small Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
