Spellbinders CSOM + CDOM JUN-2022┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an inspiration set of cards with a fun and colorful “Paisley Design” look made using: Paisley Bouquet JUN-2022 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club. Along with this month’s clear stamp & die of the month, I used Small Die of the Month Club and Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club all by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, I started off by placing an A2 size white front card panel inside my MISTI Stamp Tool and then, I proceeded to line up the three different stamp images included in this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club to get them stamped over the white cardstock piece using VersaMark Ink. Next, once I had finished stamping them up over the cardstock, I went ahead to keep going with the stamping until I gotten done the paisley pattern over the whole cardstock panel. Then, right after that, I went ahead to sprinkle over the whole stamping images some Embossing Powder Ultra Fine Alabaster and then, I proceeded to get the powder melted using my Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool.

Once, I had finished the heat embossing process, I went ahead to add a pop of color to it using a combination of ink blending brushes along with Golden, Fern and Coastal inks by TSM Inks. Followed by that, as soon as, I had finished adding the pops of colors, I proceed to trim off 1/2 of an inch from each side of the card panel using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I’ve gone ahead to get the backing of it mounted to an A2 size top folding white card base using; craft foam adhesive to add dimension to it. Lastly, I used two of the card sentiments included in the stamp set to get them stamped and gold heat embossing over a piece of white cardstock. As, for the heat embossing detail, I used Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded also their coordinating dies; to cut them out from the cardstock. Last but certainly not least, I went ahead to add the card sentiments to the card over the lower right corner and then, I used my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Crystal Confetti adding that way, an extra touch of sparkle to the card.

To create the second example, I used the large and medium stamp images included in the stamp set to get them stamped a few times over a large pieces of white cardstock with embossing ink and then, to get them heat emboss using the same white embossing powder that I used in the previous example. Once, I had finished the heat embossing process; I proceeded to use the coordinating dies along with my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut the images out from the cardstock. Also, to keep a cohesive look, I used two ink blending brushes along with Golden and Coastal ink to add some pops of colors to them.

Meanwhile, after adding the pops of colors to them, I went ahead to use one of the decorative dies included in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club to get the decorative and intricate image cut out a few times from white cardstock. Having that being said, as soon as, I had finished cutting them all, I went ahead to get them glue down over a white front card panel for a white-on-white look. Next, I proceeded to get 1/4 of an inch trim down from each side of the detailed front card panel and then, I went ahead to get the die cut images that I had created previously adhered over it using craft foam adhesives adding some dimension to them.

Lastly, I went ahead to get the excess for the the adhered images trim off and then, I proceeded to get the backing of the detailed front card panel adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base. Then, to finish the card off, I added its sentiment and got gluing down some of the crystal confetti as well to add an extra touch of shine to it.

For the last example, I went ahead to create a quick and simple yet textured card. So, to do that, I kept using the same hues that I used in the previous examples. However, to add the texture to the front card panel, I used this month’s Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club.

Then, to change thing a bit, I went ahead to trim down 1/2 of an inch from each side of the card panel and then, I got its backing adhered on a landscaping design with craft foam adhesive to an A2 size side folding white card base. Nevertheless, to finish the card off, I got foam mounted the card sentiment in the center of the front card panel and then, I also got gluing down some of the crystal confetti to an extra touch of shine to the card.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this inspiration set of cards with a fun and colorful “Paisley Design” look using: Paisley Bouquet JUN-2022 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, Small Die of the Month Club and Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
