Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating their JULY-2021 Release with a fabulous blog hop. So therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from Tenia’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful hop.
With that being said, today I’d like to start by sharing with you a set of colorful “Floral” handmade inspiration cards made using the just released Best of Everything Stamp Set, Best of Everything Stencil Set, Just a Hello Floral Stamp Set, Just a Hello Floral Die, Just a Hello Floral Stencil Set and Slimline Skinny Plaid Stencil Set along with them I’m also using Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set and Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the scalloped frame and stitching detail to both cards. Plus, Essentials: Jewel Mix and Metallic Pearls -Gold to embellish them up and last but not least, PFS- Inks to color the flower clusters in. So, without further ado let me share how-to-make them ↓
Therefore, I started off by placing down and A2 size white card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch to get the layering stencil steps started. So, for the layering stencil process, I used as I mentioned at the beginning of this post all 6 stencils including in Best of Everything Stencil Set along with Coral Reef Ink, Passion Fruit Ink, Sweet Mustard Ink, Clementine Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink and Olive Ink.
Thus, as soon as I had finished inking it up the large floral cluster over the card panel, I went ahead to place the inked card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool to get the outline stamp image for the floral cluster stamped over the inked floral using the large stamp image including in Best of Everything Stencil Set and Detail Black Ink.
So, as soon as I had finished stamping the outlined image over the floral cluster, I went ahead to trim off the edges from it using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I’ve also gotten the backing of it adhere with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base.
Next, I went ahead to get the scalloped frame mounted by doubling up skinny pieces of craft foam and double-sided adhesive over the front card panel to add extra dimension to it. A scalloped frame which by the way, I’ve had previously die-cut out of white cardstock using Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
Lastly, once I had the scalloped frame mounted over the card, I went ahead to adhere down the card sentiment, which I’ve had previously stamped on a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments including in the stamp set and detailed black ink. Then, to finish the card off I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold to add the card a bit of shine!
To make the second example, I used Just a Hello Floral Stencil Set along with the same color combination that I used in the previous example to ink up a card panel. Therefore, I also used Just a Hello Floral Die to die-cut the floral clusters and sentiments out of the cardstock. And, then I used Just a Hello Floral Stamp Set to stamp the outlined images for the floral cluster and to stamp the sentiments over a piece of white cardstock. Besides that, I used as well Slimline Skinny Plaid Stencil Set along with Ocean Breeze Ink to subtlety ink up the plaid background, over the smaller card panel which I’ve had previously die-cut using both stitching dies including Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set.
Finally, after getting the assembling for the second card done, I went ahead to embellish it by gluing down here and there some of the Jewels: Ballet Slipper to add some sparkle to the card. And, with that said, I hope this set of colorful “floral” handmade inspiration cards inspire you to give these sets a try!
