Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating their December-2021 Stamp, Dies, Stencil & Hot Foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. So therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from TaeEun’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful hop.
With that being said, today I’d like to start by sharing with you an extra glimmering “House Shaped” inspiration card made using the just released Heart Grid Foil Plate, Built on Dreams Stamp Set, Built on Dreams Die, In the Meadows Washi Tape and In the Meadows Die. Along with these beautiful sets I’ve also used Essentials: Shaker Heart Die Set to create the stitched die-cutting heart shape, Curvy Leaves Die Set to add the translucent greenery + Metallic Pearls -Gold to add extra pops of shine to the card. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓
Therefore, I started off by getting the hot foil stamping process, so to do that, I went ahead to line up the Heart Foil Grid Foil Plate over my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform. Next, I proceeded to get the hot foil stamping done over a large piece of white cardstock using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine along with a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura.
Thus, as soon as I had finished the hot foil process, I went ahead to cut out from the hot foil stamped cardstock the house shaped. So, to do that, I used Built on Dreams Die, and once I had the house shaped cut out from the hot foil stamped panel, I went ahead to repeat the same step to cut out two more houses but this time out of plain white cardstock.
Moving on, to create the house card base shape first, I went ahead to cut out a small piece of white cardstock to H 2-3/4” x W 1/2” inches to create the spine for the card. Next, I added a scoring line in the middle of it and then, I’ve got it fold over in half. Then, I added pieces of narrow double-sided adhesive to each side to get the plain white die-cutting houses adhered to each side of the folded cardstock piece. Once, I had finished creating the card base, I went ahead to get the backing of the hot foil stamped house adhered over the card base and as soon as I had done that, I quickly gone ahead to get the assembling for the focal point started.
As for the focal point, I went ahead to mount in the center of the shaped card a white stitched die-cutting heart. A die-cutting heart which I’ve had previously cut out from white cardstock and on which I’ve had added the card sentiment. For the die-cutting heart, I used Essentials: Shaker Heart Die Set and for the card sentiment, I used one of the sentiments including in Built on Dreams Stamp Set. Next, to create the floral cluster, I used the die cut shapes created by using the just released In the Meadows Washi Tape and In the Meadows Die along with the die cut shapes, I used Curvy Leaves Die Set as well to add a fuller and subtle greenery look.
Finally, after getting the focal point completed over the house shaped card, I went ahead to glue down here and there some Metallic Pearls -Gold to add the card an extra pop of shine. And, with that being said friends, I hope this extra glimmering “House Shaped” inspiration card inspire you to give these sets a try!
