Modern Layered Florals┃Slimline Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Layered Florals” and very dimensional inspiration slimline card made it using Modern Layered Florals Stamp Set and Modern Layered Florals Die Set along with these beautiful sets, I also used Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Circles Die Set, Essentials: Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set, Heather’s Lowercase Stamp Set, Heather’s Lowercase Die Set, Lea’s Ornate Lowercase Stamp Set, Lea’s Ornate Lowercase Die Set and Inks by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by placing inside my MISTI Stamping Tool a large piece of white cardstock. Next, I went ahead to line up the stamp image with the branches and leaves from Modern Layered Florals Stamp Set over it and then, I’ve gotten them stamped twice over the white cardstock with Olive Ink. Therefore, once I had the stamping done, I went ahead to turn the white cardstock piece to the other side and then I went ahead to repeat the same step on the other side.

Thus, right after that I’ve had finished the stamping for both branches and small leaves, I went ahead to remove the stamp images and then, I lined over one of the stamped images the solid leaves stamp images from the set. That said, right after that I had it line up, I went ahead to get them stamped on both sides of the white cardstock using Mint Ink. Moving on, as soon as I had gotten the stamping done for the leaves, I’ve gone ahead to line up over one of the stamped images the solid stamp image for the flowers from the set and then, I’ve gone ahead to get them stamped on both sides of the white cardstock using Soft Lilac Ink.

Last not but least, I went ahead to finish off the stamping by lining up over one of the stamped images the last layer stamp image which adds the details for the flowers. That said, I kept going to get the detailed image stamped on both sides of the cardstock using Candy Violet Ink. Nevertheless, after I had finished the stamping, I went ahead to die-cut both floral clusters out of the white cardstock so to do that, I lined up over one of the stamped floral cluster its coordinating die which happens to be Modern Layered Florals Die Set and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Once, I’ve had finished the die-cutting for both floral clusters, I’ve gone ahead to set them off aside while I got the assembling for the slimline card started. Therefore, I adhered over a slimline white card base a die-cutting white slimline scallop card panel which I’ve had previously die-cut out of white card base using Essentials: Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set. Next, I glued down with liquid glue the ends of each floral cluster upwards and downwards as shown on the two previous images. Once, I had gotten them glue to the card panel, I went ahead to add foam square adhesives to the back of each flowers to add a bit of dimension and as soon as I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to mount with craft foam tape right in the middle a die-cutting white layered stitched circle which I had previously die cut out of white cardstock using Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Circles Die Set.

Lastly, right after that I had finishing the layering for the die-cutting pieces, I went ahead to finish the card off by mounting the die-cutting hi along with the sub-sentiment which I had gotten stamped over a strip of white cardstock using Candy Violet Ink and one of the sentiments from Modern Layered Florals Stamp Set. As for the die-cutting alpha letters, I used a combination of both Heather’s Lowercase Stamp Set, Heather’s Lowercase Die Set, Lea’s Ornate Lowercase Stamp Set & Lea’s Ornate Lowercase Die Set to stamp and die-cut them out of white cardstock.

Finally, as finishing touches I went ahead to add Glossy Accent to the hi which I’d like to mention that changed the tone of my Candy Violet stamping to a darker dusty pink which, by the way it kind of turned out unexpectedly pretty. Then, I also went ahead to glue down with liquid glue here and there a few clear and purple crystal from Essentials: Crystal Mix to add an extra touch of shine! And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Layered Florals” and very dimensional inspiration slimline card.
